This thick specialty breakfast drink was blended with strawberry, banana, and peanut butter.
Due to its thick texture, a couple of the straws cracked; it was a small inconvenience to pay for a tasty shake.

Playa Bowls in Englewood is always a solid choice. The bowls are super fresh, the vibes are chill, and the staff is really friendly. I usually get the Dragonberry Pitaya Bowl, it’s so fruity and refreshing. Fast service and good portions too. Definitely one of my favorite spots in town.

The wait time is the worst to be honest buttttt…. they do warn you with a sign at the counter saying it’s easier if you order online and then pick it up later (20-30 minutes – ish ). It was my first time however at any Playa Bowl so I didn’t know that.
They have a HUGE menu!! So many options/ different bowl combinations. I do with the menu went into a little more depth, or had pictures etc. Being that it was my first time I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into.
The bowl and smoothie were amazing!!

Changing up my review here after two positive interactions with the location in the past month. This is a true testament of the management listening to its faithful customer service base. I was reached out to by their team and they listened and took into consideration my words and I can truly see a change and I can positively say that things have improved here. Really happy with how everything was handled throughout this time.

At the bottom was my review of how I felt over the summer when it seemed like this place was really killing it and providing the best customer service. As of lately I truly feel as though it is a struggle to provide a consistent product. One day the bowl is overflowing, the next day it is an inch below the bowl edge. Its difficult for me to justify spending $12 every visit when I cannot rely on consistency for that price. Friendliness of the staff is never an issue but seems like a lack of training and available staff to keep the business operating at a healthy capacity.
Two pictures showing two different visits within the same month, though these are the only pictures captured its really been rough receiving consistency since the summer has ended.

There is a promo going on ($10 Mango Mama or Goldie Bowl, and if you spend at least $14 you get a FREE 16oz sweet cold brew coffee) and in combination with my previous reward points I was able to get $3 off! So in total I spent about $9 for the breakfast, not including tip!
I was so excited about this and it really made my day. Hopefully you guys will take this review as encouragement to get out there and grab a bowl to sweeten up YOUR day too!

I frequent various Playa bowls and this location is my least favorite. It has now been 4 bowls that they have given me incorrectly. I always pay for extra granola and honey on the side and they never include it. Then the most recent order they forgot to put the granola all together and for my mother’s NUTELLA Bowl they forgot to put….. you guessed it…….. NO NUTELLA. It’s a shame because I love playa as Chain and this is the only one close to my work.
