I’m a big fan of Cracker Barrel but this location needs better management or a better system in place to handle the rush. In my opinion the service was subpar as I have seen other Cracker Barrels handle the weekend crowds better with twice the amount of customers. This location is in need of improvement as it should not take 52 minutes to bring out an order of fried chicken nor should I be forgotten about once the meal is served. The food was good as always but this location needs assistance to bring it to a satisfactory level. If you are in hurry I’d seriously suggest going to any other Cracker Barrel. Cracker Barrel Staff – Please do better.

It’s fine. You don’t go here because the food is amazing. You go because the food is different than your ordinary night out. The pancake syrup is probably the best thing they have probably because it’s half real maple syrup.

My husband and I went in for lunch. The parking lot was being plowed due to the tremendous snowstorm which brought around 10 inches of snow, two days ago. We were so glad they had a fire in the beautiful, and gigantic, Hearth. The manager stoked the fire a couple of times while we were there to keep it going.☺️ Even our wonderful server, Heidi, tended to the fire, once as well.
Heidi was delightful and a fantastic server!

I arrived at 7:05 Sunday morning. The door was unlocked, but there were no staff in the “store” area, or the dining room. After waiting 15 minutes, a very sweet server, came out of the kitchen and told me she would be with me in just a moment. I placed an order to go. While I was waiting, I saw two really cool Bengals shirts that I bought while I was there.
Since the whole insane debacle with the totally-out-of-touch Cracker Barrel CEO and her idea of rebranding, apparently, a lot of customers have not returned to the restaurant so they have cut way back on staffing. So, bring an abundance of patience. And, be kind to those who ARE working.

We had a corporate event. They catered our breakfast. The were on time. Stayed in contact with me the whole way through. Did a marvelous job with setting up. Thank you for everything thing. We had the Mommas and the classic breakfast.

This is about all I could stomach of my meal. French toast burnt, the eggs were definitely cooked first as it was the coldest thing on the plate. Manager breezed by the table, didn’t bother to ask why weren’t eating. Don’t think I’ll be back. All the locations have seem to decline in service and quality. Don’t waste your money.

I took my 83 year old mother for her first meal at Fields Ertle Cracker Barrel. The manager treated her like a queen, he was so sweet to her, as well as our server, Gina, she was phenomenal! The food was Amazing! I can’t say enough good things about the experience we had there today.

I haven’t been to a Cracker Barrel in a few years, but I used to eat here every other month. It’s mostly the same with the decorations and furniture, but it seems a bit run down. The service is fine. The menu is very different than when I last visited. There were some classic meals missing. Further more, the food wasn’t as good. It seems to have a pre made quality that I never noticed before. Some of the food was still very good like the pot roast and fried chicken. I got the steak and it was ok. I’ll have to try the pancakes again to see if they are different from what I remember. I loved eating here before, but it seems some of the charm and quality is lesser.

I have enjoyed visiting Cracker Barrels since the seventies, fifty years. It’s been awhile and with all the latest news, I felt like I needed to check out the latest happenings. I realize that the quality of the different locations vary in quality, this one is on the far north side of Cincinnati. The sign had not been changed and the interior looked the same. However, the menu had been changed, for the worse, and was very confusing. The simple, straight forward menu was no longer. And, margaritas and Mimmos?? And now, the food. I ordered Grandma’s Sampler and was very disappointed. Thin, hard, cold strip of bacon, small lukewarm sausage patty, and country ham that wasn’t country, and the hash brown casserole lacked flavor and texture. Upon check out I kept being asked to buy something extra. If management wanted to raise revenue, this is not the way. What a disappointment! BTW, the service road into the place has a terrible, big hole that the management has not bothered to address.

Absolutely wonderful first experience dining in at Cracker Barrel. I had the Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Pancakes and they were phenomenal. Strawberries were fresh and good. Apple juice was cold and refreshing. Welcomed warmly and our waitress Autumn was great. And the store has all the nostalgia my soul needs. I loved it all the way!!

We were having a hard time because people were going out for Valentine’s Day. Everywhere was crowded. We saw someone pulling out of a front parking place. We were seated immediately! Waitress was super nice and I loved the fire in the fireplace. The food was really good and it came out quick. Store was fun too.
