Visiting from Georgia, restaurant was recommended. Onion rings were great, salad good at best. My friends had ribs and ribeye. Ribeye was great, ribs were good (were not the freshest). I had the filet and fried shrimp with corn. Filet was superb, shrimp tasted old and corn was dried out, old and chewy. Server did offer another side and more shrimp however the taste turned me off. Definitely a steak and potato kind of place.

Angelo’s is one of the oldest standing steak establishments in the PCB area and it stands to reason that if the food wasn’t good then they wouldn’t be in business now. I ordered a rib eye with salad and baked potato. The meal itself was very filling however the salad served was very minimal, just a basic mix with a few cherry tomatoes. Be sure to ask for Angelo’s house dressing as it is very good. The rib eye was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. Angelo’s steak sauce is a good accompaniment to the steak but the steak doesn’t need it. Service is very friendly and prompt. However, with prices of everything continuously going up, it’s getting difficult to find value. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for supporting local businesses, but I can get a larger rib eye of comparable or potentially better quality for less at Longhorn. Just food for thought. I would come back though

This is our first time dining at this steakhouse, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good it is! My husband and I ordered the filet steak, medium rare, and it was delicious. My friend ordered steak & shrimp, it’s very good too. The food came out very fast! The prices here are more affordable compared to other steakhouses in PCB. We also ordered side salads; I added beets to mine, which was a great choice. Definitely try their unique old French dressing, it’s fantastic. The steamed vegetables that came with the steak were also very tasty. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their steaks! This restaurant closes in the winter months. They usually open from March to October!

The steak was delicious, the baked potato was loaded and on point. The Greek salad dressing, I loved! The service was sub par but to be fair she could have just been busy. She was super sweet just very slow. Again the steak was worth the wait. If you order wine ask for the bigger glass, let it breathe!

Had dinner here while on vacation. It’s a seasonal restaurant was just opening up when we were there on Spring Break this year. We beat the crowds. It was not a long wait time and was able to be seated after about 2-3 minutes. The service was great. Our waitress was knowledgeable even tho she had started back working. The food was a bit pricey, but it’s what you would expect for a steak house. I would definitely go again if in that particular area of Florida. I definitely recommend going if given the opportunity.

I’ve been to Angelo’s 3 times now and after last night, I will not be going back. That was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life at a dining establishment. I am not typically confrontational and I despise sending food back. I can’t remember the last time I have, honestly. But I ordered a medium well steak with French fries. It’s how I always order my steak no matter where I go. Per Angelo’s menu, a medium well steak is cooked all the way through, NO char. Upon receiving my steak, it was very much charred in addition to the fries being both cold and stale. (Which I’ve had issues with their fries every single visit). There was no ketchup or steak sauce on the table so our waitress (Tiffany, I believe) returned with our sauce and asked how everything was. I very politely told her my issue with my plate. She was sweet and said “No problem.” I was relieved. For approximately 2 minutes until some older lady (I was told her name is Kelly) abruptly came up to my table with my plate in hand, no introductions, no greeting. Just to berate me in front of a room filled with other customers about my steak. Honestly, I don’t know which was grilled more.. Me or my poor steak. The first words out of her mouth were “You ordered a medium Well steak. This is a medium well steak.” She was insisting that wasn’t char, that it was merely grill marks. I was trying to explain the crispy edges and the burnt char taste. She went back and forth with me before asking “What are you wanting us to do? How do you want us to make it? Do you want us to wrap it in foil so there aren’t grill marks?” It was incredibly condescending. I relented and told her if there has to be some pink, that’s fine. But I don’t want a charred steak. She huffed a dramatic sigh of relief then informed me now she has to go to the other side of the restaurant to get a new steak since this side is closed. As if I’m inconveniencing her. I was appalled. I said “thank you so much” dismissing her because I wasn’t going to continue that conversation. As to why it would be closed an hour before closing time, I wouldn’t know. But somehow that was my fault. Had my steak been made correctly the first time, she wouldn’t need to go get a new steak. After awhile a very polite man came out with my steak and asked if I’d cut it right then to make sure it’s correct and it was. It was perfect and I could tell the fries were fresh. He told me it was hard to cook a steak all the way through and not char it. Yet their wasn’t a single char in sight so I told him it was perfect and that I appreciate them remaking it. He admitted to me that the one I received was in fact charred. The lady never came back out to apologize for being wrong. Not that it would have made it better. So I spent over $100 on two plates and two appetizers to be insulted, talked down to, argued with, and have my entire dinner experience ruined. So is dealing with her then eating my food after everyone is finished supposed to be enjoyable? Absolutely unacceptable. I have never been spoken to that way. No one should have that experience. As a local, I now know which place not to recommend when tourists ask. (Photos are the before and after steaks. I’m sure you can tell which one was sent back)

DO NOT let the price deter you. Every single bite of this food was well worth it! From the garlic cheese bites to the mac n cheese to the perfectly cooked steak (cooked over open flame with hickory) and don’t forget the fried shrimp that was about two thumbs size…. was phenomenal! Our server was the best I have experienced in a while ( and I was a server for years)! The host was friendly and the bus staff were very prompt and thorough! I will definitely be back soon, even if it’s 6 hours away!

I had the rib eye steak at Angelos in Panama City, and it was worth every single penny. The steak came out perfectly cooked with that signature char that they are known for, and it had that classic flavor that reminds me why this place has been around so long. For me, Angelos brings back a lot of nostalgia from when I was a kid, and sitting there again brought back those same memories of family trips and summer nights.

Now I am bringing my kids, and they loved it just as much. They cleared their plates and actually commented on how fun the place felt, which is rare for them unless something really stands out. The atmosphere still has that old school charm without feeling outdated, and it adds to the whole experience instead of feeling like just another restaurant stop.

The wait was barely noticeable, and the service was on point—friendly, quick, and not overdone. You can tell the staff has a rhythm, and the place runs smooth even when it is busy. It is one of those spots where the experience matches the reputation, and that is getting harder to find.

If you want a classic steakhouse feel with food that actually lives up to the hype, Angelos still delivers. I will keep coming back every time we are in Panama City.

The service was amazing! The staff was so kind, informative, and present. The food was good, i got the quarter bbq chicken, smokey and thick. Chicken was tender and juicy, i got 2 ears of corn so generous side. The steak was more thin than expected but was tender. Baked potato was large & cooked perfect. On the more pricey end but was a good for us to try one time. Oh and the bbq sauce… DELICIOUS!!!

The waitress was… fine. She got the job done — drinks were refilled, and our order came out without mistakes. No complaints there.

The fries, though… wow. Not in a good way. They were limp, soggy, and somehow cold in the middle but overcooked on the edges. Honestly, I’ve had better fries out of a gas station heat lamp. They tasted like they’d been fried hours ago and reheated just enough to be sad again.

If you’re coming here, maybe stick to something that doesn’t involve potatoes.
