TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave’s Hot Chicken is tender and crispy!
I ordered the small top-loaded fries, 10-piece Dave’s Bites, and a spicy slider.
The fries were perfect with the veggies and sauces — not too thin or too thick, so they paired really well with all the toppings.
I personally prefer the non-spicy chicken. It was tender, juicy, and crispy. The spicy chicken tasted more like fajita-style seasoning.

I always crave Dave’s Hot Chicken daily! Love the chicken sandwiches,loaded fries,Mac and cheese and every side that comes with it! I never been to this location but it didn’t take away the great experience. Love how spacious this location was in contrast to others. Great customer service,very efficient. Dave Hoy Chicken Restaurant never disappoints! The chicken is always perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside, juicy and full of flavor on the inside. You can really taste the quality and freshness in every bite.

The place and service were excellent. Maria was the employee who attended me and my family. She made our experience worthwhile. She made great recommendations and the food was super good. It was also well proportioned. The food tasted great and was flavorful. It’s not everyday you find great customer service at a fast food restaurant. I will definitely visit again.
