Stopped by for lunch during a trip—clean place with good service and no crowd. We tried papri chaat, samosas, butter chicken, and naan, with complimentary rice on the side. The papri chaat was a standout—crisp, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Butter chicken was on the sweeter side, and I found the naan a bit too thick and hard. Would definitely return just for the chaat!

Simple and understated in design and service, and absolutely top shelf in cuisine! Prepared and delivered perfectly with absolutely amazing flavor and texture! We were smitten with the first bite of food and every bite thereafter seemed even better than the one before! A pleasant surprise new find in Tahoe and we hope Mehfil stays forever! My friend and I walked in close to 8:30 and they were more than happy to seat us even though their hours are until 9.
We ordered and shared the Samosa Chaat appetizer, Chicken Goan Curry entree, Garlic Naan, Mefhil Chai, and Gulab Jaman dessert and were super pleased with everything!

This has been my second time visiting Mehfil Indian Bistro in Incline Village, and both times really enjoyed the food and it’s a nicely laid out restaurant. We’re up here in Tahoe to ski and are staying at a condo in Incline Village. The restaurant is in a little shopping center right along the main road. The food has authentic flavors, is reasonably priced and is served in good sized portions. The waiter was very friendly also. Definitely recommend visiting.

We mostly ordered vegetarian food. Shahi Paneer and Karahi Paneer was good and they accomodted to make food to our spice levels. Papdi chaat and Samosa chaat was just right and kid friendly. The food, ambience and service was great. Would definitely come back again.

Living in the San Francisco Bay Area provides plenty of Indian cuisine dining options. Mehfil meets the mark for a long awaited Indian restaurant near Lake Tahoe. We tried three vegetarian dishes and liked all of them, our favorite being the tadka dal and the matar paneer. The okra masala was tad bit spicy but full of taste. Highly recommend the place, we were skeptical from the reviews and the menu prices before trying out.

The food here is unbelievably good! So nicely spiced. We had entrees, starters, sauces, sides and dessert (a rice pudding) and all were excellent. Service was lovely and atmosphere is so soothing. Our new favorite Indian food restaurant! We dined in.

Looks like a new restaurant and a little slow in the service. Good spice but average taste. Ordered few vegetarian items but not great. Still it’s great to find an Indian restaurant with more variety items to try it out. Next time will try non-vegetarian food and share my thoughts..

We ordered the Karahi Chicken & the Chicken Goan curry & both meals were AMAZING. I would absolutely come back and try some other meals. So happy to find a good Indian restaurant on vacation! Staff was also very friendly and accommodating. 10 out of 10!
