We got a French toast that was supposed to be a stuffed French toast but it was dry as a brick. The orange juice tasted off and my dish was just mid. The place had some grime but I noticed a very dusty area and attached that image to the review. I won’t be back but I wish them the best of luck moving forward.

Food was excellent, I’m a person who typically likes lunch food more than breakfast but this breakfast was so delicious. Eggs were fried perfect over easy, potatoes were moist inside but crispy on the outside, all the food was well seasoned and felt like good value. Staff is nice and attentive. I recommend Dempseys special. Definitely will come back!

Dempsey’s Breakfast & Lunch: A Royal Feast (But Mind the Crown Jewels)

The Queen, The Prince, and this humble subject embarked on a noble quest for breakfast glory at Dempsey’s Breakfast & Lunch in Everett—a 4.4-starred kingdom according to Google’s loyal peasants. After a swift seven-minute chariot ride and a brief parking joust, we crossed the threshold… and wondered if we’d accidentally stumbled into a vintage diner instead of a top-rated eatery.

The floors whispered tales of meals past (perhaps in need of a knight with a mop), the ceiling tiles looked like they’d survived the Boston Tea Party, and the walls could’ve used a fresh coat of paint—or possibly an exorcism. But fear not! The service was swift and friendly, our waitress materialized like a breakfast fairy godmother, and the menu was a tome of endless possibilities. Fifteen omelet choices? A crepe fit for a sugar-crazed prince? The Queen and I nearly succumbed to decision paralysis.

When the food arrived, all doubts melted like butter on a hot pancake. The Western omelet was a golden masterpiece, the sausage crispier than a New England fall, and the Prince’s Nutella-stuffed crepes could’ve doubled as a dessert plate. Even The Queen’s bacon achieved peak crispness—no small feat for royalty.

Then came the scroll of doom (aka the bill). At $71 pre-tip, we briefly considered pawning The Prince’s crown to cover the cost. Was it delicious? Absolutely. Worth the treasure? Debatable. If you’re prepared to part with a few extra gold coins, Dempsey’s will treat you well—just don’t expect the ambiance to match the price tag.

Final Verdict: 4 stars for food, 2 for atmosphere, and 1.5 for your wallet’s survival chances. We’ll be back… once the royal treasury recovers.

Food was great I met a group of friends and was unfortunately late arriving after order. Waitress was super nice but I was ready to order for 10 minutes before she even asked for my order then my food took a long time to make other tables that came in after me got food before me. I think she might of even misplaced my order. The rest of table got food promptly and she brought them request for condiments and drinks. I think me coming in late just threw their whole service model off. Anyway great place I would visit again but make sure I am on time if not alone great breakfast place if like the old diner feeling.

First time in Boston. Landed on a Saturday morning from Vegas at 6am and we were hungry. Couldn’t find anything open near the water. Couldn’t find parking either so we drove out of downtown and googled breakfast restaurants.
Stumbled upon Demsey’s. Quaint little diner. Ordered the artichoke omelette and 3 pancakes. The pancakes were HUGE. 2 people could share 1. Light. Fluffy.
The artichoke omellette was amazing. Service was great. Super friendly lady with “the accent”. Would definitely recommend

Come step into a breakfast that reminded me of my favorite diner meals. I chose the Avocado Benny and my wife went with egg, potatoes and raisin toast. Friendly service. Beautiful muffins!

Delicious breakfast best pancakes I’ve had! The steak and eggs was tasty compared to other places where the steak has 0 seasoning. Service was on point the lady was all by herself running the floor to go orders and register for a while and she definitely rocked it way faster than full staffed places.

I love that they now take credit cards. Pancakes are huge. Eggs are extra large. Great family atmosphere, no thrills breakfast with large portions. Friendly staff.

Went to Dempsey Breakfast & Lunch in Everett and the service was awful. No greeting when we walked in—someone just pointed at a table like we were supposed to figure it out. Our server took forever to come over and didn’t even say good morning, just asked what we were ordering.

At the end, the server basically tossed the check on the table and walked away. No “thank you,” no nothing. Just really unwelcoming overall. Not coming back.
