Excellent place! The food is really good, and the portions are large enough to share. The service matches the quality of the food — excellent. The place is very clean, I would even say spotless. I also liked the music; they were playing Mexican cumbia. They also have a separate bar area, which is a nice touch. Overall, a great place and definitely recommended

I don’t even understand why this restaurant was not packed with people!!! The atmosphere, service, and food were amazing! This was my second time going to Amigos, and I wanted to be sure that the first time was not a “fluke”; I assure you it was not! The chips and salsa were so fresh, and my fried shrimp tacos were filled to the brim with fresh, hot, crispy shrimp and sizzling peppers and onions. The remoulade sauce was KILLER! My friend ordered the chicken quesadilla and was so pleased. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and kind! She was helpful to answer all of our questions with a smile.

We normally go to the popular Mexican grill about 7 minutes from where I live, but I drove out of my way to come to Amigos, and you should, too!!!!

I ordered the lunch combo quesadilla and found it to be unsatisfactory due to an excessive amount of meat, insufficient cheese, and an unremarkable flavor. Additionally, the guacamole, priced at $8, was excessively expensive and did not meet expectations.

Lots of locals go here. Good indicator. The food is very good. I have been here several times. They keep your drink, chips, salsa filled without having to hunt them down. I meet my cousin here for lunch. She likes it too.

This is my son’s favorite place for chicken tenders at the moment. These are hand cut breasts into long strips that resemble sticks and so tender and juicy, they cut with a fork.
Lucky for me, all the food is great here. Service is outstanding. You cannot go wrong here.
The asada torta is delicious. The quesabirria is incredible. The super shrimp nachos are delicious. All the tacos are great! The skinny margarita will knock your socks off.
We have become instant regulars at this spot and highly recommend it for authentic Mexican food if you are in the area. You cannot go wrong with food and service here. 10 out of 10.

The wait time was not good. No idea if it was door dashes fault or this place but I ordered at 2:50 and didn’t get the food until 3:25-3:30. Mind you I work nearby and it’s a 2 minute walk. And there was only 3 tables full maybe 4… Ate here for my lunch which I only have 30 minutes and it was a waste of a lunch break. I had to rush to eat just to make it back to work in time.

On top of that I paid $18.30 just for one torta and a bag of chips…

However the torta is decent but isn’t the best I’ve tried. Definitely doesn’t do the price or wait time much justice…

This is the new favorite spot! For a restaurant that sits right next to a Publix, I wasn’t expecting much. But this place blew me away. I’ve been at least 4 times in less than two months. Every item has been delicious. Specialty enchiladas, authentic tacos, smoked brisket burrito… I have yet to be disappointed. Do yourself a favor and have a fresh 32 oz. margarita.
On our most recent visit, we decided to spring for Tres Leches. It was topped with a light whipped frosting and fresh berries. Quite the delight!

Update 06/04. These guys are truly the best. Go for the quesabirria and delicious margaritas!

They never miss with food or service. The house margaritas are refreshing and limey. Prices are reasonable for very high quality food. There’s a huge variety of food on the menu, something to please everyone. We will continue to have this be our neighborhood Mexican spot!

I had a great experience today and have to share it started from walking in the door and being greeted and then on to meeting Angle he was my bartender and gave me great customer service and the drinks he made was perfect I got 3. I ordered the birria tacos and they had so much flavor and was so good made me feel like back home. Angel customer service was so amazing and finding out he’s actually the owner made me go in depth with my review this is how you run a successful and welcoming restaurant thank you angel.

Started eating before the picture it smelled amazing.

This place could’ve easily been a 5. Food was very good. We got the fried buffalo chicken tacos. also, got the chicken torta, Which was one of the best we’ve had in the area. Place was clean. My only issue is the wait time for cocktails was about 20 minutes per drink. I understand training someone, but trying to train them while you have first time actual customers just was a bit frustrating. Our server was attentive, very nice, and trying hard, she was just new. She will be great once she gets the swinb of things. Training someone new for drinks that customers are paying for isnt a great business model. We review food all over the country. Eating Mexican like 2-3 times a week. The length of service and trying to convey drink orders was frustrating to where we almost left. Glad we stayed and tried the food thanks to the new server. We want to return, but maybe once everything is up and going. Full review on CDeatsAtlanta tiktok of the food this week.
