This was a very disappointing experience. The meat quality was extremely poor — dry, overcooked, and closer to low-grade ground beef than anything resembling carne asada.
The salsa was easily the worst I’ve ever had: extremely watery, bland, and completely lacking flavor. Between the meat and the salsa, the overall quality was so low that this was easily among the worst food experiences I’ve had.
It genuinely felt like corners were being cut to save as much money as possible, and it showed in every bite. Given the price and the overwhelming number of 5-star reviews, my expectations were much higher. I hate leaving negative reviews or criticizing small businesses, but this experience was extremely disappointing.

Ive been to many food trucks in Jax and none of them really wow me. I’d have to say out of Mexican food trucks, this soot probably had the best steak tacos imo. Paired with their hot salsa . I highly recommend.

I got three tacos Al pastor and they were pretty good. The salsa provided really kicked it up a notch. I also ordered a side of rice and beans. The beans were a standout. All around a very good meal made from scratch.

Who doesn’t love a good food truck??
Service – outstanding
Food – delightful
Ambiance – great for a food truck, you get a nice covered area with tables and chairs.
Service could not been better, I was greeted promptly and told about their “money back guaranty”. Well when the food is really good, you can guaranty it. Safe to say I doubt they have many returns.
I got to meet some of the regulars who eat there almost daily. Since it is fairly close to my house, I am hoping I can be a regular too.
But the food:
Guacamole – really hard to do fresh guacamole in a good truck, so don’t expect any.
Salsa – choice of hot or mild, thin and very flavorful.
West Coast Burritto – absolutely filled to the brim with rice, chicken and veggies. The wrap was tight and the whole thing grilled yo give it a nice crunch.
Horchata – on ice, not a slush, but has that nice hint of cinnamon.
Great spot to put on your radar.

These tacos are the best I’ve had this side of Texas! Perfect seasoning, fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked! This will be a must stop every time I drive through this area. Very friendly family ran place. The carne asada tacos were great the rice and beans were moist and very tasty. Great job!

Kings Taco is highly recommended as the food quality, preparation and taste amazingly wins over any other restaurant. High quality gourmet recipes, a full menu going beyond tacos, including quesadillas and enchiladas, served quickly with warm and caring courtesy. Served from a food truck so location can vary. Hopefully someday they will have a restaurant as the quality cannot be beaten even by the best in Florida.

I’ve been hearing about how good the food was here for a while. My husband and I tried it out for lunch today. He had the Steak Burrito and I had the Steak Quesadilla. Both were delicious The young man that took our order was very friendly. I highly recommend.

I drive by this place all the time and decided to try them out. I got the carne asada tacos with red salsa and OMGGGGG! The meat was wonderfully seasoned but that salsa?! Talk about a kick! It was just the right about of heat and just boosted the flavor of the tacos to the next level. I paired them with some sangria for dinner and I am very pleased and excited to go back and try more on their menu.
The customer service was great and the food came out in a very timely manner. I got my order to-go, but there are a few tables to eat outside, and music that gets your toes tapping.
I encourage anyone interested to give them a shot
