Jerkies Grill is hands down one of the best spots around! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the authentic seasoning and the care that goes into every dish. The staff are super friendly, and the overall vibe is great, warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. I tried the chicken wings with Jerk sauce and Mango Habanero, and they were absolutely delicious! Definitely a place worth coming back to again and again.

I went to the food truck area tonight, a place that usually has a nice mix of Latin food trucks. I actually came there for a different truck called Peppaz, which I’ve supported before, but they were closed tonight. While I was there, I noticed a lady from Jerkies Grill come out to ask another guest how they liked her food. I thought that was great customer service, and it made me want to support her. Since I’m Jamaican myself, I felt even more encouraged to spend my money with her and keep that support in the community. When we walked up, my mom noticed they had jerk pork on the menu, which isn’t something you see often. I asked the lady politely if my mom could try a small sample before ordering, just to decide between the jerk pork and the jerk chicken. I told her we were going to buy food regardless, but she said no, they don’t do samples. I said okay, no problem, but it was disappointing because I wasn’t asking for anything free. Even after that, we still went ahead and supported her. My mom ordered the jerk pork with rice and peas and plantain, and I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas and plantain. She got a guava drink, and I got a Pepsi. When it came time to pay, the owner’s young son, who looked about nine or ten, handed me the card reader and said nothing, just pointed to the screen that showed the tip options. I paid using Apple Pay, and the total came to $48.15. For that amount, I expected not only good food but also good service. While we waited, I noticed other food trucks nearby were walking food out to their customers who were sitting in the dining area. At Jerkies Grill, they simply yelled out my name for me to come get my food. When we sat down to eat, the food was okay overall. The oxtail was decent, the rice and peas were alright, the jerk pork wasn’t authentic, however well seasoned, and the plantain was actually excellent.
The part that confirmed for me that I wouldn’t come back was when the lady came out again later on. She walked up to another customer, checked on them, and asked how they were enjoying the food, but she never came to our table or even made eye contact with us. I’m not the type of person who writes negative reviews for no reason. I’m a nurse and a business owner, and I know how important customer service and consistency are. When people are willing to spend their hard-earned money with you, especially those who come with the intention to support you, it’s important to show appreciation. The way this was handled told me not to return. That $48 I spent tonight could have easily turned into steady support every week, but I won’t be back.

When we first discovered Jerkie’s Grill we purchased one plate and decided to try it to see if we even liked it… NOW, let me tell you, we will pretty much hunt these folks down and definitely require our own individual plates. The food is authentic, tasty and memorable! Service is always great! The owners and staff are so welcoming and make us feel so comfortable ☺️ It’s an outside seating venue, but as good as the food is you tend to ignore the heat ! I recommend you go early to secure a plate. Down to Earth folks with great food… ♥️

I rarely believe in 5 star reviews but Jerkies is 10/10. Absolutely incredible jerk chicken it’s like you’re in Jamaica. Incredibly friendly service by any standards not just Jamaican 🙂 and it’s a really nice vibing spot to eat at with lots of seating, and other vendors too. The side cabbage is knock out the park and the rice and beans real nice but that chicken, will truly make you feel like Bob is your uncle. Next time I’ll try the curry goat.

Honestly came here not expecting much but was blown away by the meal, the value, the price and just the overall experience. We got the jerk chicken lunch special with rice & beans. The jerk chicken was so flavorful & practically falling off the bone. Will be back. Will bring friends/family. 11/10 recommend

My co worker told me about this place a couple weeks ago and said the jerk Philly was amazing. I went on my lunch break and got the perk Philly by far the absolute best Philly cheese steak I’ve ever had. I will be coming back almost everyday. You Have to try this place 100/10

We ordered from here for a catering service for work at turbodebt. Usually we don’t get Jamaican food but this was for the win. The jerk chick was well seasoned and the jerk sauce and gravy was on point!!! Rice and peas slightly over cooked but the flavor was bussing!! I think we should try curry chicken next time but differently you’ll hear from us again or at least me. Everyone loved it in the office
