Eating lunch here was a great experience. The theme is well done and feels relatively authentic. The food was delicious, and the lemonade options were also very refreshing and tasty. Service was also very good. Prices were very reasonable too.

Really great experience! Fun food, the 50’s vibe really hits, and the bathroom is super quirky, so please do visit!
I had the cheese covered nachos as I couldn’t quite bear with a whole burger, and it was absolutely lovely, and I can only say the same for their milkshakes, really wholesome and filling, scrumptious even!
The staff were lovely, and very ‘on it’ with making sure we had everything we needed. Overall it was a great vibe, even if the fifities were actually quite mediocre and even terrible for anyone that wasn’t a straight white man. Yay!
Anyway, go here! Recommend!

As a one-time experience, it was fun. The server did his best despite a language barrier (there were a couple errors which the manager easily corrected); the food tasted great. It was more expensive than we anticipated because we were told – after ordering only appetizers – that there was a minimum spend per table due to the live entertainment. The entertainment was energetic and on theme, but accounted for less than 5 minutes of our stay. With minimums more clearly communicated in advance, I would recommend a visit!

Restaurants neighboring stations don’t need to invest as much into the quality of their food since they offer convenience. The waiters will do their absolute best to make your experience smooth throughout the meal even though they don’t all speak fluent English —weird, since they’re close to a transportation hub.
The decoration is over the top for classic American diner restaurants, though it’s bearable. The milkshakes are cold enough that the beverage gains viscosity; don’t choose a fruit flavor. And the shows, they’re something! We’ve got two songs from a Tina Turner lookalike who knows how to entertain a crowd. The shows are triggered once an hour and during these moments the business seems to freeze to leave room for the act. I wonder how it all balances out between the restaurant and the acts.
Unfortunately, I visit restaurants for the quality of their food and service, not decoration or entertainment. Fifties Diner isn’t terrible in this regard, but I’ve seen the same idea executed better elsewhere. There is a lot of potential there, if the food gets the love it deserves!

This place was adorable! The Mac and cheese with chicken is interesting: loved the cheese but wasn’t a fan of the corn flake batter. The milkshake is so delicious and so was the burger and cheese fries. It’s a great break from traditional Lisbon food if you’re a North American needing a taste of home.

I wasn’t sure, to be honest, because the concept could sound very cliché. But this place is definitely worth trying.
The smoked hamburger is out of this world and lemonades are delicious.
