Is this the best pizza in RVA? Possibly. It’s up there with Belmont Pizzeria. If you’re looking for a NY or New Haven style pizza – this is the place. Dave Portnoy would give it a solid 8.1 (a monstrous score).
Freshly made tomato sauce has a nice tang but not overpowering. Great undercarriage. Minimal flop. Nice crisp.
Recommend if you’re looking for something different from artisan pizza in RVA (such as Mellow Mushroom or Pupatella)

Was in VA to house sitting for my sister my daughter and I looked up the best pizzas places this spot asked up and it didn’t disappoint when we arrived and entered the establishment all you you can smell is goodness the freshness of bread omg .. we ordered two 10 inch pizzas so good and the knots amazing weekend will definitely visit again

have been a fan of rapid pizza for a few years now. i love that they’re right in the neighborhood, always friendly when i walk in, and my food is always hot, fresh, and delish! they have the perfect pizza dough, thin but with a good chew. the sauce isn’t too sweet for my liking and the grease to cheese/topping ratio is excellent in my opinion. one of my favorite rva pizza spots

Fantastic pizza! Ordered one decked out with black olives, mushrooms, and tomatoes. The tomatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had. Very fresh!
The Mac & Cheese bites were pretty good as well as the Chocolate Cake. But the other heavy hitters were the Cinnamon Cheesecake and the Fried Fish Sub. Loaded with flavor. Highly recommend!
Rapid also has a pizza eating challenge. My sister and I will have to give that a shot later this year!

Had the pleasure to enjoy with Villi and family, while waiting for food to be prepared. Great atmosphere. My deluxe pizza is so tasty. the absolute tasty meal I’ve had in a while. Fresh ingredients, this man puts his heart and soul into his creations. More meat in my italiano sandwich, is my only suggestion. Thank you for the softer roll. Perfect.
