Y’all…this is a wonderful place to visit if you love anything peach! Their home made ice creams, shakes, tarts, peach lemonade and even fresh peaches are awesome. My wife and I love the u-pick as you can decide what you want – half of what we picked were ripened peaches (to eat right away, make cobbler, etc) and the other half a little firmer peaches to freeze.
We noticed a recent, and unfortunate, 1-star review which is disheartening. It’s pretty obvious that you have to monitor what you pick by hand as there are some that are still a little green, all the way to those that are about to fall off the tree ripened. If you pick those that are too green, and it’s clear which one’s those are, you should leave them to ripen more.
Well worth the drive!!

We’ve been meaning to go out here for so long, and finally went today! All of the staff was so nice, helpful, gave suggestions, and the variety of things to buy here was awesome! There’s also a little playground too, and picture opp head cut out stands. We got the peach tea (spoiler alert- there’s real pieces of peaches in it, not just peach flavoring like most places have), quarts of peach and strawberry ice cream, the last of the blueberries, and of course a big bag of peaches!! We can’t wait to enjoy all of these items!

We arrived in the middle of a heavy rainstorm. The staff helped us get our crew (including two kids) in to enjoy treats without getting wet. We all enjoyed ice cream and milkshakes, and we bought a few more items from the store. Excellent service. We’ll return soon!

Summertime at Lawson’s means one important thing … peaches. But don’t think that’s all they have. Besides the yummy peach ice cream, cold peach juice, and hand-picked peaches, they have a great variety of other fruits and beautiful veggies. Besides all that is their great staff, there with a smile and willing to help you in a pinch. They’re even willing to Google you an answer when they don’t know it. Today, I learned that the best time for figgy freshness is May to June. I think that’s awesome customer service !! :<)

When I think of summer, I think of Lawson’s! We love the peach float, frozen peach lemonade, blueberry ice cream and butter pecan ice cream. We always pick up a peach lemonade gallon to go.
