Our first time trying Golden City. Amazing food. Wife and I were craving some Asian and Golden City didn’t disappoint. I had the Orange Chicken with Fried Rice. Yummy

Excellent food. Boneless spareribs are amazing and also the shrimp friend rice with chicken. The sauces they give you are also really good. The price is very fair!
Staff seems rushed and kind of aloof despite not being busy. Otherwise, I will be back.

The lady at the counter was EXTREMELY RUDE to me for no reason at all. Honestly, there are much better Chinese restaurants with better customer service and food in this area. I refuse to give my money to any restaurant that doesn’t know how to treat their customers.
Also, I noticed that was she handling payments and then went right back to preparing food without bothering to wash her hands.

The wonton soup is the absolute best ever!!! Their house pandit is fantastic! I always get the shrimp egg rolls because they are delicious. I recommend this restaurant with no hesitation. I always get takeout.

After being bored of eating Mexican and American food here, I was craving for some Chinese food. I found this restaurant and ordered the food online. It was a breeze, and my lunch was ready for pickup. The food tasted great and the order was accurate. There was no stomach upsets or anything afterwards. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I had the Schzeuan Chicken and Chicken Teryaki sticks.
Schzeuan Chicken had plenty of chicken with the right amount of spiciness.
Teriyaki Chicken tasted like Teriyaki Chicken like I’ve never had but in a good way. It tasted like it had a fried crispness to it.

Holy mother of Chinese restaurants. After being in VB for a few days, I wanted something besides burgers and seafood. Decided on Chinese food and this place did not disappoint.
I always order General TSO chicken when I eat Chinese food. Let me tell you, this place has THE BEST GENERAL TSO chicken that I’ve ever tasted.
It was the good chicken..the sauce had the perfect taste..the pork fried rice was not oily and gross. Everything was great.
Tasted a bit of the chicken lomein and that was also delicious. If you’re in Virginia Beach and want Chinese food, I definitely recommend this place.

At VA beach for a week on vacation and decided we wanted Chinese food. This was the first place to pop up so we decided to try it. Was not disappointed!! We got egg rolls, beef and broccoli, fried rice, and lo mein noodles and everything was delicious. We walked there from our hotel over a 10 minute walk and when we got back the food was still super hot! And even better, it wasn’t super expensive! We will definitely be eating here again next vacation and I am recommending it to family!
