He takes the time to talk to each and every one of us, even while he’s busy making drinks behind the counter. He remembers details about our lives, asks how we’re doing, and genuinely cares. He even remembered my wedding date and followed up afterward to ask how it went those small moments mean more than people realize.
Steve is incredibly knowledgeable and creative. He clearly loves coffee and often talks about the science behind it, which makes the experience fun and interesting. When we’re indecisive, he always suggests amazing drink combinations that end up becoming favorites.
Because of Steve, Starbucks has become more than just a place to get coffee it’s a place we look forward to visiting. Sometimes we come in just to see him. His positivity, work ethic, and passion for what he does are rare, and one day I would love to see him running a Starbucks of his own. He is an absolute asset to this location and to the Starbucks brand.
I noticed a barista, I think her name was Maranda, who asked me how my day was. I opened up to her about how I was feeling regarding my dog’s loss. She was really receptive to my feelings while also preparing drinks. The eye contact we shared felt therapeutic, and I truly enjoyed our conversation. Coming to this location made me feel better about my dog?
I will say everyone was very friendly, but you could tell only half the employees actually knew they worked in a fast-paced environment because the other half of them were joking and giggling, especially those working the register. They could have helped make drinks since everyone who was in the lobby had preordered. Instead, they were joking and laughing, while those working the drive thru were hustling.
I couldn’t tell if there was a manager on duty, because if there were he/she was nowhere to be found. I’m shocked this location hasn’t had more complaints. I’d only go back if I were in the area, otherwise, I’d rather drive to another location.
Today I picked up the usual pink drink, and it was complete water.
When I told the lady in the window, she said when you don’t put ice, it looks that way, which is not true.
So I returned inside the store to have them fix it.
The lady who took the order it seemed like she was a manager ? but she had a very bad attitude!
I was polite and asked for more coconut milk in it but I guess customer service like I said, is not their thing.
