The beef bourguignon special was excellent. Maria was both charming and attentive. We sat outside on the covered patio with heaters during a rainstorm. 10/10

Lagniappe delivers on their name. We ordered the Plate of Summer Vegetables and what arrived was a beautifully arranged selection of at least 20 carefully prepared vegetable delicacies. Some raw and some slightly roasted or perfectly boiled. The parsley aioli side dressing was exceptional. The dish showcased the something extra care and flair of the bistro. Steak frites, onion gratin, rye brioche and the mille-feuille were also wonderful. Paired with an elegant Chinon cabernet franc. We will be back.

Bistro Lagniappe is an absolute gem! From start to finish, our dining experience was exceptional. Julia took amazing care of us with warm and attentive service, and Ryan at the bar crafted a fantastic atmosphere with his skill and hospitality.

The food was outstanding—each dish felt thoughtful and perfectly executed. The rye brioche with honey butter was the perfect start, light and flavorful. The grilled mussels in red miso butter were a creative twist that we couldn’t stop talking about. The burger, topped with sautéed onion, cheese, sauce Choron, and a crisp pickle, was rich, decadent, and easily one of the best in town. The steak frites with Béarnaise sauce (highlighting that perfect touch of tarragon) was classic French bistro fare at its finest.

The wine pairings elevated the entire meal: a beautiful French Burgundy Pinot and a Cab Franc from the Loire Valley, both perfectly matched with the food.

Every detail, from the ambiance to the service to the carefully curated menu, makes Bistro Lagniappe a place worth returning to again and again. A true 5-star experience!

Such a wonderful new addition to Healdsburg! The food and cocktails are delicious and the staff is very attentive and friendly. You know it must be a great place when there is a Last Word on the cocktail menu! Can’t wait to be back here.

This was a treat. Warm and friendly, with hospitable and attentive staff, and excellent food. We enjoyed very much the two special appetizers – the tomato mini tart and crepe with smoked black cod – as well as the puffy flatbread, and a hamburger. Dessert was good, too. Most of the tables around us were filled, and the atmosphere was convivial. We will definitely visit again.

This is the hidden gem of a restaurant in the Healdsburg area. We had the Prix Fix menu and all of the food items were exceptional. The Steak Frites done medium rare was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. Service was very friendly and professional. We are definitely going back and highly recommend Bistro Lagniappe.

I headed to Lagniappe for Restaurant Week, and while the pot de crème was a genuine highlight, the rest of the meal felt like a social experiment in portion control.
The “Entrées”
The Trout: I’m pretty sure the “trout” was actually a goldfish cracker in disguise. It arrived as a minuscule flake of fish accompanied by a literal teaspoon of purée and—I kid you not—exactly one-eighth of a squash slice.
The Crêpe: Then came the second act: a lonely, tasteless crêpe sitting in the dead center of a massive plate. No garnish, no greens, just vibes. Apparently, this beige circle costs $35 on a regular night.

I was slapped with a 4% “Health and Wellness” surcharge.
I thought Healdsburg was over these “mystery box” fees.

Staff friendly.
Super uncomfortable camping chairs.
Place was dead that night, maybe it should have been a sign.

Lovely atmosphere and music. Limited food menu, but the quality was pretty good. You can assemble your own charcuterie tray. Good wine list with a varied range of prices and styles. Staff is super friendly.

We’ve been visiting Healdsburg for 6 years now.
This is the most refined food we had so far! Perfect service, and very good music (and perfect volume, both rare in the US).

Bistro Lagniappe is my new favorite restaurant! Every dish we tried was delicious. I LOVE the steak frites and the wood oven roasted oysters. They have a great selection of wines by the glass and awesome cocktails. The staff is super attentive and created a wonderfully fun environment. Would recommend 10/10
