We love this place for wings and a fun night out with the kids. Though we don’t participate, Friday night is typically line dancing. It gives us some entertainment while we wait for our food. The wings are by far the best around. The fries are fresh cut and can be ordered regular or shoe string, also very good! I opted to try some other menu items as well, crab bites, they were just alright and a salad, same. Always very friendly. Bring a sweater.
Update: We’re sorry to hear Ed is leaving. He will be missed for sure. I hope our service continues to be the best in his absence.
We tried the cheeseburgers. We were not disappointed!
Tonight, we tried a cheesesteak! Not bad at all, not bad at all. Would definitely try another one. Also, Andy was super busy and still super on top of it!

this place is a hidden gem! Delicious food, very affordable prices, and the service was top notch. Our waitress (Cathy or Kathy, I’m not sure the spelling) was so sweet and awesome. Shoutout to her and the kitchen staff for giving us a great dining experience!

this place is foul. i ordered wings and they were either raw or had gone bad. these are pictures of the kitchen. no one in the kitchen wears gloves, nothing is labeled or dated, they don’t refrigerate wing sauce and it sits out until it’s used all up, that could mean weeks, or even months. rotten wings sit the bottom of the sauces and the sauces are still served to guests. that’s what that first pic is of. the manager, Kathy, can be heard screaming at her employees by customers, and everything served is expired, but because it’s frozen, “it’s still good”, according to the manager, Kathy. this woman has been seen dropping chicken on the floor and then putting it back in the fryer for a customer. this is just an over all disgusting, unsanitary, and disturbing place to be.

Felt like a nice local chill spot. Plenty of space, games to play and good service.
Very accommodating staff, good location. The overall aesthetic could be improved, but it has some very “homey” touches and unique decor if you look for it. Not bad for a place that’s been up and running for about a century.

Nice bar and grill right smack in the middle of Catawissa. Unpretentious and saloon-like, the Cracker Barrel was the sister bar of dearly departed Good Old Days bar in Bloomsburg (RIP). The vibe is much the same as GOD’s was back in the day. There were some locals hanging out, playing pool and stuff. The bartender, Danah, did a good job. They have Genesee beer, one of my favorites, so that was a plus for me. We had some boneless wings with the Twister sauce, a burger, and a Reuben. All the food was good, nothing to cross state lines for, but all good and satisfying.
There’s a shut down old bar in the back, that looks like it doesn’t get used anymore, which is a shame. A busy night in that place with a band playing and both bars operational must have been a rocking good time.
One word of caution to all the menfolk out there, the men’s bathroom sink is the highest pressure sink I think I ever saw. Exercise caution or get soaked!

Had the Barrel BMC Burger. It was very good. Wifey has the BLT and said it was good. Came to Cattiwissa for the soda factory in town that bottles sells Moxie Soda. Prices are great. Staff very friendly.

Wing night. First time. Good wings and lots of flavor options. Can’t beat the price and quality. Dry and wet were both good, home made ranch and blue cheese. Service was excellent, very personable and good at their jobs.

Had the wings. They were supposed to be garlic Parmesan, but tasted mostly like mayonnaise. My boyfriend had a burger. It was bland, unseasoned, small and came from a processed frozen patty. The decor is dark and dirty. I ordered a margarita and was told they couldn’t salt the rim. Really? You, as a restaurant, don’t have any salt? The drink was mostly mixer, very little alcohol. The food is very low quality and inexpensive. I’d rather pay more for better quality food. Update the decor and bring this dive into the 21st century.

The manager, Alicia, is great. Very friendly and social. Draft beer is 1.25 all day every day so we had a dozen wings (¢50 wings on Monday) a burger, and a beer for under $16 and everything was delicious
The twister sauce and the boom boom sauce on my wings were on point, and the burger came on a fresh ciabata bun.
