This visit to Benihana was a little different we sat in the first dining area where there’s no chef show, just regular table service. It was actually really nice for a quick lunch stop since it was calm and the food came out faster. I always love the soup here, and it’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back.The food is okay not the best but a nice show so it’s ok.

I do enjoy the hibachi show when we sit at those tables it’s fun but it can get really hot, especially when the grill is going. Benihana is definitely on the overpriced side, but it’s still a place I enjoy and like to come back to depending on the occasion.

We came here for our pre Valentines dinner and it didnt dissapoint. The food was great and the service as well. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 for service is because we weren’t asked if we wanted our tea or our ice cream and what we ordered clearly came with it. But other then that it was ok.

My 1st time coming here was to celebrate Veterans Day. I was not impressed by the the initial encounter, the front host were not very helpful and seemed all over the place. Although, it was a busy day for them I felt they could’ve had more control. When I sat at the bar, I was greeted by Skyy. He worked amazing under pressure, and had a really good spirit about him. Even while being overwhelmed he still communicated and checked on us. Skyy’s customer service is the only reason why I’ll consider coming back.

If I could leave no stars I would. Not only were the portion sizes RIDICULOUS, I can honestly say I’ve never been to Benihana location where the food was so expensive but you can literally count the pieces of steak on your meal! I didn’t even touch my food it was no reason to eat it. The pictures I’m attaching are right after he put the food on my plate (untouched) and another picture of him completing the plate. Will definitely never go back. The kid meal was even $22 that didn’t include rice. $255 spent here when Kiki or Akiki is cheaper and more fulfilling.

We love this location!! Our chef was good but a little slow. I had the teppana hibachi filet and jumbo shrimp. Was so hungry I didn’t even slow down to get a picture of my finished plate. The food was yummy, as always. Will definitely return!!

This is the first time I’ve been here as an adult. I see why I haven’t been here in decades. The food was severely unseasoned and bland. The bartender/server for lunch was digging in her ears in the middle of making drinks. There were several flys/gnats flying around. Major concerns on proper cleanliness. Just not a good overall experience for an almost $25 lunch. Definitely won’t come back!

Edit update:
It was clear my visit was beyond a poor experience and the poor sarcasm shows exactly why the food sucks. Too bad I’m unable to rate 0 stars

This food is so bland it makes hospital meals taste exotic. Honestly, I’ve had more flavor licking a postage stamp.

And of course, it should come as no surprise that the only way to get any semblance of flavor here is to purchase a side of yum yum sauce. Yes, really — a hibachi place that charges for yum yum sauce. The audacity. The one glimmer of taste in this entire establishment is locked behind a paywall.

At that point, you’re not dining; you’re being held hostage by mediocrity.

For what they charge, you could eat somewhere that actually respects your taste buds. Try Steak 48 — roughly the same price, except the food there doesn’t taste like printer paper. (Receipts attached.)

This Benihana needs a serious remodel.

Ordered an Emperor’s Feast which is both steak and chicken – only received 6 pieces of chicken – neither fully cooked.

It was super cold in here that by the time my entire order of food was complete my food was cold.

We really love coming here, so today was a disappointment!

Benihana is not what it used to be. AT ALL. Our reservation was for 5:30PM, but we weren’t seated until almost 6PM and we didn’t get our first bite till almost 7PM. We ordered dumplings for our toddler so she wouldn’t have to stay hungry waiting for the chef and we never received them, but of course when the bill arrived our server left them on there even though I already told her we never got them. We had to ask the manager to remove them. I requested a booster seat for my toddler and had to get up and retrieve one myself because it was never brought to us. I was also seated next to the cart that held all of the ingredients for the hibachi chef, and the cart was absolutely covered in filth which was such a turn off before the meal even began. I could tell the restaurant was short staffed and I’m sympathetic to that, but that’s truly no excuse for how unhygienic the place was and the poor service from our server. The food was okay. I wasn’t expecting much. Hibachi chef was clearly off his game too but I would be too if I was 1 of only 3 chefs in the whole restaurant on Valentine’s Day weekend dinner rush. I genuinely have the worst remorse for our nearly $150 bill that wasn’t worth the experience at all. Not to mention that there was ZERO parking and we had to pay the restaurant next door to valet our car after circling for parking for 15 minutes.
