We experienced great customer service and the food was hot and fresh. The chicken and steak hibachis were well seasoned. The sweet carrots were like eating sweet potatoes which we liked. Clean restaurant. Overall great experience.

I just ordered here today and this was what they gave me for the steak hibachi. I went back to see if this was a mistake and was told no. That is the serving size. The older lady gave me my money back but the usual lady offered to make me more steak. Before i could answer and say yes the older lady said “SHE DON’T WANT IT”. I said i do want it and if you could just add more steak i will be satisfied. As i sit down and wait for my order to be redone another customer come in and order food. The older lady mumbles something and the customer responds “I get full off the portions y’all give me”. So i knew she was talking about me. I got up and requested my money. I will not spend my money with someone who will talk about me to the next customer in my face. Very poor customer service and I will not be returning.

I’ve eaten here a few times in the past few weeks and each time the hibachi steak with mushrooms I got was amazing. The steak melted in my mouth (I asked for medium cook). The place doesn’t look super fancy but the bathrooms are clean and the staff are perfectly friendly. Also it took about 6 or so minutes to get my food wich is about as fast as you can expect for this type of food.

The food was tasty and the waitress was very friendly! I would certainly go again. My only gripe would be the amount of food… since covid, the portions are smaller, and the prices are higher. That is everywhere now, it seems. But when it comes to Japanese food, it seems like they could still give a large portion of the rice and not lose out too much $$? Maybe I’m wrong. Either way, I recommend this place!

I wish people knew that we are so eager to communicate with the people around us that we invest our money in language translators. Well guess what buddy I definitely had mine on! The older lady with the red glasses didn’t believe my name was Katie because I’m a big black girl! She made me repeat my whole order with a side eyes and started talking in her native tongue. Mind you I do have a cold and I’m better sure my husband’s clown mask didn’t help but it was the only mask in the car. They gave us toooo much rice and a small amount of steak (our plates were $25)! I hate to say this in this day and time but don’t go here if you’re black! You know what… I’ll take that back and replace it with this….. before you leave check your food and make sure you get what you deserve

Pretty good food overall although I got a hibachi shrimp today with broccoli onions and zucchini and the zucchini is barely cooked so I could t really eat it. And the rice doesn’t really seem like fried rice more like steamed rice with soy sauce on it. The portion size is great as well as the freshness. Customer service was good as well.

We’ve been coming here for over 10 years and the food is delicious! We’ve had the hibachi steak and rice, chicken, and shrimp. My kids love the egg rolls. They have always accommodated for our family and our picky eaters with switching the veggies if needed. I do hear the owners have switched to their kids/friends but the food is just as great! I have to say the only thing we miss is the old recipe for the shrimp sauce! (And the older gentlemen reading newspaper at the table. Haha) My mama used to buy it by the jar when he opened and it is something I’ll never forget. If you are in the town want a quick stop for Japanese stop here! You won’t regret it.
