Sweetbreads appetizer was by far the best thing we ate . Empanadas were average and Argentinian chorizo was actually a ribeye that was a bit chewy. Cooking each piece on charcoal next to our table was a nice touch.
Lava cake was blah most likely frozen not made in house.
Much better restaurants in polanco , I wont visit again .
The children’s area is not supervised and has no clear rules regarding age range or maximum capacity, which is concerning. The restaurant is also not wheelchair accessible: there is no access through the main entrance, and the restrooms are not adapted for people with disabilities.
If you have the option, it’s better to skip this place. Mexico City has many much better Argentine food restaurants in terms of quality, service, and overall experience.
Ordered a picanha, and it was completely inedible. Asked for medium rare, came completly raw in the middle. Awfully rendered fat cap, and everything was impossible to chew through.
Terrible cook, and piss poor meat quality.
Sides were good, but the meat was irredeemable.
Service was mediocre.
The servers were incapable of recommending a doneness level for the cut of meat. It’s a steakhouse! They should know this. They also did their best to try and gaslight us when we complained about the awful cut I was served; saying things like “this is how the cut is supposed to be”.
Awful experience overall at any price. I do not recommend this place.
However, I have to say that the place itself feels a bit dark and dingy, not really up to par with what you would expect for a steakhouse of this quality, location, and price point.
Sauces which came with the steak were really good, and also the caprese tasted really good! The food overall was good, but the steak didn’t really satisfy me as much as I expected. For the prices you pay, I expected a bit more. Don’t get me wrong, the service was really good and we were really well taken care of, but the taste was just lacking the kick, as I expect it from a dinner which cost us more than 150USD.
