Great place right off the highway, close to town. Great food! Got the ribs and sliced brisket. Moist and delicious! Saturday was Prime Rib special but they don’t have it available til after 4 pm. FYI burnt ends are not available until after 4 pm as well. Their deserts are great as well. We got the peach cobbler and banana pudding. Cool atmosphere, rustic. They have volleyball courts as well for summer night fun.

They have a large party room in the back that opens up to the outside that you can rent thats amazing! It holds up to 60 people. Their catering is extremely reasonable and SO delicious! Customizable to your style and wishes! So friendly and accommodating! We had a retirement party that was so enjoyable and memorable! Food was amazing and still had leftovers to take home!

I called in a carry out order. I was briefly put on hold so the availability of my requested item could be confirmed. I was told there was one left. I asked for my name to be put on it. I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I said that it would take me 20 minutes to get there. I arrived in just under 20 minutes and the item that I ordered was not available. The manager acted like it was no big deal and said there were lots of other things I could order.
I went to Bad Brad’s instead. The food was a little more expensive but just as good.

A wonderful dining experience. Friendly people and delicious BBQ. Place can get very packed, so we arrived just as the football game was ending. Good timing. After a 5 minute wait we ordered, found a comfortable booth and our food was brought to us. Absolutely delicious. I’m not usually a big eater, but I was this day. Pulled chicken and pulled pork and fries and bread and I ate as if it was my last meal for the week. Terrific food and atmosphere. ♿️

We went today for lunch. We got the rib platter with two sides. It was very good. The ribs was very big and very good. I recommend going and giving them a try. The restaurant is very eclectic. Very cool . You order at the cash register and the menu is behind the cash register on the wall . They give you a number for you to put on your table. A few minutes later they bring you your food.

First time to give it a try. Overall, was good. Good size portions. Had several plates w sliced brisket. Also got some pulled pork and polish sausage. Brisket was a bit dense, sausage was good, and pork was dry. Added some tableside sauce and that helped. Sides of creamed corn, cowboy (pinto) beans, and mac & cheese were average. Staff was friendly and helpful. Advertised 4% off if paid w cash but not sure I got that deal. Overall, good place to go. Might be busier and hustling on game days and such.

Really appreciate this place being open on Labor Day, when a certain competitor we intended to eat at was closed. The brisket was absolutely delicious, and they weren’t stingy with it either. Good BBQ sauces too. I order fried okra any time I can get it, and here it was as good as it gets. The pinto beans and a hot link were both good, but next time I think I will experiment with other menu items.
Never had this happen before, but when I spit out what I thought was a bit of bone, it was a piece of my plastic fork. Looked at my fork and the recovered piece, and some was still missing; I had swallowed part of it. An upgrade of the plasticware is the only change I would make at Smokin’ Joe’s.
I like the cash discount much better than a credit card surcharge. They are two sides of the same coin, but the surcharge folks are charging you more money than the posted price, whereas the cash discount folks are charging you less.
Last and least, I was delighted to see a poster for my favorite Western, “The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly”, on a wall. That was about the time I realized this is my new favorite BBQ place in Stillwater.

Our first visit to Smokin Joe’s Stilly.
The staff was very efficient, friendly.
The food was very good. The portion sizes are huge. Too much for my liking but some like huge portions.
Only negative was we were looking forward to having the bologna and they were out for the day. Reinforces that it must be good.
Will return(hopefully we can try the bologna)

Awesome food! I am extremely picky about my barbecue. I travel 3 states regularly and I’ve tried everybody’s ribs. These are tops! The pulled pork was tender and juicy and the Polish sausage was great. Even the sides were great. It’s worth a trip from anywhere in Oklahoma to try this place out.

Now, I ain’t fibbin’ when I say this here is the best dadgum BBQ I’ve ever had the pleasure of layin’ my lips on. The atmosphere? Pure rustic charm with a country soul that’ll make ya feel right at home.
I saddled up to a feast fit for a southern queen – ribs, pork loin, and pulled pork that were so tender and smoky, I reckon they’ve been kissed by angels themselves. And don’t get me started on the sides – fried okra and potato salad so good, they’ll make you wanna slap yo’ mama (but please don’t). I ate till my “buffet pants” were cryin’ mercy, and I still took half of it home for another round!
So if y’all are hankerin’ for some BBQ that’s out of this world, mosey on down to Smokin Joe’s Stilly. Just be warned, you might need to bring your “buffet pants” ’cause you’re in for a heapin’ helpin’ of deliciousness. Yeehaw!
