Decent! The boloney was so cheap it melted in my mouth, couldn’teat it. The potatoes needed seasoning. The eggs were definitely good. Service was good, just nothing exciting about the whole experience. Especially because you have to go out of your way to find cash. Decent breakfast, but better in town.

I got the Cheese burger Potato soup. My wife got the Chicken stuffing w broccoli, salad and green beans.
Both meals were very good..

Went for breakfast and ordered two pancakes. They were huge. Service was great. Pancakes were overcooked on one side and not easy to cut with a knife. Should have told waitress but I’m not that type of critic. We always go there when we come to Heber so next trip I will check the bottom of my pancakes first.

A trip to Heber Springs just isn’t complete without breakfast at Peggy Sue’s Place. Nothing fancy — just great food. Today, we enjoyed the Half Skillet with biscuits and gravy and the Meat Lover’s Omelet. Both were delicious and satisfying. Everyone knows how great the food is and weekends you can expect a wait, but it’s worth it!

How are the pancakes?
Well to be a great diner the pancakes need to be as good or better than mine. Not that I am a GREAT cook, my wife and I just found a GREAT recipe. Peggy Sue’s….not as good…better.
After ordering the blueberry pancakes and sausage I sat in the dinner watching wonderful plate pass by and I began wondering if I should ordered a Skillet or biscuits and gravy (another gauge for a great dinner) but I am so glad I got the pancakes.
Why? Real blueberry! Great texture! Slightly sweet to the taste (even without the syrup)! Presentation!
I think the pancakes had a bit of vanilla and held the chewiness of a great waffle without being dense. Wonderful.
I ordered a side of sausage and that was just as good.
If you are in Heber Springs do yourself a favor and check it out. Quaint diner with wonderful food. What more could you want.

Didn’t get a 5, ONLY because it was so crowded & they need to expand, or move to another bldg.
Also we had to wait for some1 to pull out of a parking spot to prk.
FOOD, GREAT.
I’m very limited to foods I can eat, so eating out is difficult for me.
I got a YUMMY Chicken salad, on a bed of lettuce, that came W/some sort of yummy side crackers.
Never had one this way.
Really like it W/out all the bread of a sandwich.
The tea was fresh tasting. Thats not always easy to find.
I was W/a group of 11 ladies from church.
Yes we called ahead the day b4. It was still a lil difficult to get us seated & there was no way to seat that many together in there W/out rearranging the whole set up & the other tables were full, so that means, THE FOOD THERE IS GREAT!
Waitress was running hard, doing the best she could, with a good attitude.

Absolutely perfect hometown diner! Blueberry pancakes and Meat Lovers omelettes were outstanding. Service was above and beyond. Can’t wait to come back!
