Food was exceptional! I’m a southerner, and this food was southern. Sweet tea was sweet! The service was quick and friendly. They have room for conferences. There’s a bar area.
Somewhat dimly lit, which wasn’t an issue. Very lovely place. Prices were reasonable, portion sizes were pretty good. Bathrooms were clean. Cool decorations round about. All together, I have no complaints!

Fried ravioli was great! Prime rib was a good value, little light on flavor but the aujous made up for it. Recommend medium cook…right amount of pink.
Real horseradish with good flavor. The peas were very good…not sure the prep (think they cook them in the aujous) but delicious. Service was quick, food fresh…I will return.

The reviews are correct!!! It was one of the best prime rib dinners I have ever had. The lady helping me was very pleasant and nice to talk to while I enjoyed my meal at the bar. When the rib came out cooked a bit over, it was so good I refused to allow it to go to waste. They discounted the meal without be asked, so I gladly gave the money I planned to spend anyway to my waitress. Fantastic food and the service is top notch. Thank you so much, hope to visit again someday.

Steak haus is pricey depending on whether u catch the lunch or dinner menus, where the values of some food items vary depending on the service. However, the quality of service from the staff was was decent the food was good, and the relatively wide selection of items ensures reasons to come back depending on what ur in the mood for eating. They r definitely responsive in the positive when I asked for extra mushrooms, and received a handsome amount covering my chopped steak; their choices in beer, wine, and spirits is large and leaves room to tailor ur drink to ur meal depending on what combinations u respond to, and plenty of room to find out by experimenting n mix-for-matching items with drinks to see for urself what works for u in the future. There was no issue receiving or paying for the check, no technical issue or slow service ur waiting forever on. The pricy nature is a cause for pause, cuz my 15 dollar meal was pretty simple for all that money, yet overall I was happy to have eaten there and will consider when I have saved a bit of cash to dine there again all in due time.

Have eaten here several times. The food is usually good. This is the second time I had ordered the charbroiled prime rib. It was cooked perfectly and was very tender (both times), baked potatoe was good. Wish they served real butter instead of 48% margarine. Side salad was small, iceberg lettuce with one cherry tomato, carrot shreds and a couple of pieces of broccoli, nothing special. Service was good. Food was a little slow coming out considering they were not extra busy.

My husband and I ate here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. Our experience was a little disappointing. We placed an order for fried mushrooms appetizer with our drinks. However our appetizer, salads and entrees all came out as t the same time. My husband’s prime rib was tender and delicious. His mashed potatoes however tasted like instant potatoes. I ordered the 8oz ribeye med. rare, & I received a grey slightly grill marked cold rare steak. The macaroni & cheese that cost extra had a chalky taste to the cheese sauce. I am extremely saddened at the lack of quality we received at the price we paid.

Great service!!! The steak sandwich, baked potato, and salad (for a small up-charge) were excellent! The steak was tasty and tender, and a huge piece of meat for a sandwich. Highly recommend! Oh! Make sure you also try their delicious pies.

This was my very first time eating here. I traveled from an hour away to meet up with friends.
Upon entering, I was impressed for the old-time feel and eloquence this placed offered.
They were quite busy, a sign this place is well liked. The staff were very polite and courteous. Despite being busy, they sat my table of five people rather quickly.
I did have a series of back-to-back problems to contend with:
The waitress brought me the wrong beer. She forgot to being water, even after I asked twice. My wife ordered her steak medium-rare, but got well-done in instead. My chicken tenders were overly cooked and unappetizing. My French fries were cold. And the peas were dried.
The waitress did come by and asked how the meal was. I instinctively said that it was fine, and I kicked myself afterwards. I had the opportunity to make my complaint, but I did not. That is my fault.
Upon using the men’s bathroom, the urinal closest to the door does not flush. The cold water faucet closest to the door did not work.
As I mentioned earlier, the popularity of this place was amazing. It suggest my experience was out of the ordinary. I would most definitely come back again and give it a second shot.
