We stopped in this morning for breakfast. We were greeted like family. The food is absolutely delicious with homemade biscuits. We watch whom I assume to be an owner walk outside and help out a customer walk in.

Great breakfast stop, BRING YOUR APPETITE! The tribute pancake is ginormous. Cat head biscuits are light and fluffy like you would make at home. Great hometown atmosphere. Awesome value for the price. We WILL be back again. Loved it.

My sister and I arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes before closing and we were cheerfully welcomed in. Our food was delivered quickly and was delicious! There was a wide variety of items on the menu to choose from. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely return!

I drove ruffly 80 miles from Union City to try this place out for breakfast. I was welcomed by a friendly staff and the place was very clean. Food was very good and the greatly sized biscuits were absolutely amazing. Spoke with the owner and was very friendly and professional.

My dad has been traveling for the last month and said this was the best meal of his whole trip. The hamburger patty was obviously freshly made—no pre-mades! The tater tots with chili and cheese were RIDICULOUS. don’t pass up the homemade cookies. I had a peanut butter and a chocolate chip. OMG.
The employees were super friendly and helpful. Our waitress gave us great advice on what to order and made us feel welcome.

Oh, and don’t be fooled by the fact that there’s no exterior sign. It does exist and it’s incredible.

The BEST cathead biscuits I’ve had in a LONG time!! This place is the perfect smalltown diner! Great food made to order (the bacon was perfect! ), big portions, quick service, friendly hometown staff with an atmosphere filled with locals! Definitely the place to stop to fill the belly void! I bet the place is PACKED on a Saturday morning! Thank you Hawkes House! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
