Enjoyed it very much. We got the #1 and #8 with fries. Buns are very soft, meat is cooked how you want it, and fries are crispy and hot. Recommend you eat it there vs taking it home. Onion Rings are beer battered and highly recommended

The first time we ordered it was amazing. Chicken tenders were big and crispy. Potato wedges were tasty. Burger was good. Ordered a second time and the breading on the chicken tenders was completely different and the fries were a different type as well. Hope this was just a fluke because I was looking forward to this being our go to for takeout in the area.

Food was great as well as the service! Had a nice laid back feeling with vintage Coca-Cola signs of the sorts. Just had a TV that seemed to throw the feeling off. Maybe because it was a thriller for Halloween but felt off with the settling of the layout of the place. Still recommend going for the good food.

Ordered the chicken quesadilla plate. When I asked her how big the quesadilla was she said oh it’s the 10” flour tortilla. I was expecting one tortilla filled and folded over. Nope! It was made big and flat and then cut into quarters! So much food!! Very delicious also. And a shoutout to her for flicking out the green peppers as she cooked my food 🙂 so that wouldn’t get any.

Great juicy burgers. Fresh vegetables & good soft bread. A lil bit greasy but still good. Taste was a bit peppery / different but in a good way! I had mushroom burger and it was good. Fries crispy!

Top quality produce and meat. Very rich in flavor and moist.
Everything made fresh and worth the small wait.
Had an early lunch since I skipped breakfast and was looking for a spot to eat passing through heading back from Madisonville. En route back to Mcdade I spotted the T-Rex gas station…then later saw the burger spot beside it to the left.
Was delicious and will keep it in mind when swing through here again.

These used to be incredible juicy and tasty hand formed patties that I could barely finish. Now they are frozen and flavorless. The half slice of cheese added nothing. There were a few sweet ladies who used to work here, they are gone too. Both cooks today were efficient enough, but not friendly and certainly not welcoming. They made it clear that at 1pm they didn’t want to be cooking lunch. After servi ng our food both cooks went and stood outside the front door smoking. Afterwards they came in and sat at the table next to us. They reaked of smoke. There was no washing hands, they just began playing on their phones. Yuck. Sadly, this went from a great family business we recommended often, to just another truck stop. Yea, we won’t be back.

Definitely not the burger quality it was several months ago. I get the feeling this place has changed ownership or lost their lease, (something?). Previously I didn’t mind putting up with the moody/rude staff for a great burger but now it’s NO better than a fast food style pressed patty. Just look at some of the older photos and compare. What a shame, nothing is that great anywhere any longer and everything costs 25-30% more…
