Every time I’m back in Wanaque visiting family, Luigi’s is a must-stop – and this visit marked my fourth time here in the last three years. It’s one of my favorite places to eat whenever I’m in town.
From the moment you walk in, there’s a sense of warmth and community. The wall of children’s drawings, the friendly counter staff, and the nostalgic charm of the space make it feel like home. And the food? Absolutely outstanding. The pepperoni and black olive pizza I had today was perfect – crispy crust, generous toppings, and just the right amount of cheese and sauce.
Luigi’s is a local gem that captures everything you want in a classic neighborhood pizzeria: quality ingredients, consistency, and heart. It’s no surprise they’ve been serving the community since 1968 – they’ve clearly got something special.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and grab a slice (or a whole pie). You’ll see why it’s always on my list when I’m in Wanaque.

Pizza is great, staff is awesome. the Zeppoles used to be so good but they must have changed the recipe or the way the made
them… now they’re not good… I have purchased them like 5 times hoping they would improve but they’re not as delicious as they used to be….If they change them to how they used to be I’ll update my review to 5 star.

Hands down the best grandma pizza I’ve ever had. My grandparents live a few minutes away from this place and we always come here. The vodka sauce and pizza are extremely good, and I’ve always loved their calamari as well. Their fried doughnuts are also good!

They have so many loyal customers that they overnight pizza across the country.

The food is one of the best in the area, there’s a reason the ratings are high. There are only a few tables where you can stay and eat, most people take it to go. We had a plain slice and pepperoni, and a salad, pricing was reasonable, service was very fast and efficient, I’m coming back here for sure.
