Tad’s on a Saturday night. Summer perfection. Old fashion ice cream joint with outdoor seating. Highly popular with locals. You get what you pay for in terms of tastiness, portions and creativity in offerings. I had a Loli (sp?) orange sickle. Vanilla soft serve in a sea of orange shaved ice bliss. A perfect concoction to beat the summer heat. I highly recommend to locals and visitors alike.

A local staple to get ice cream, they have a lot of options and big portions. If you bring kids, bring your own napkins. They do have them if you ask, but soft serve melta fast.
The new cheesecake blast is awesome!

We Just Happened to Stop By after Eating at the Mexican Restaurant Next Door. The Hot Fudge Sundae was Way Better than Ones We’ve Had at Other Shops in the Area.

We love Tad’s. Located near the Spring Mills WalMart, across from Potomac Intermediate School on Rt. 11. Ice cream is always good and the sundaes are big. My husband loves the chocolate milkshakes.

Amazing ice cream!!! They have flavored blast which I’ve been looking for, for a while. So I was very pleased to find it. They also had so many selections from soft serve ice cream with sprinkles and chocolate covered toppings, shakes and banana splits to name a few.

The ice cream came out of the window melted. Didn’t make eating a cone very enjoyable. For $22 for 4 ice creams, I’d like to be able to enjoy it. I spent $16 at Frosty Dog in Hedgesville and got 3 ice creams, a sundae and 3 pup cups and I could take my time to eat it without it dripping all over. First time, last time.

Stars reflect the quality of ice cream. Not the atmosphere that has an 80’s feel so 5 stars.
Update: Had to knock a 2 stars off because I went up north and found a better ice cream with Waaay better pricing which is in a bigger building with more employees….
This is ok for what and where it is in my opinion.
