Howards was so close to a 5, but when we ask for a burger rare, we don’t mean so badly burnt that I fed it to my dogs–they loved it. I ate something out of my frig. If you don’t know how to make them rare or even medium rare, say so, as you ruined my meal. So get it together and I will upgrade you or not.
Now, the place is cute and clean. It is in a small strip mall and parking can be tiring, but something opens up pretty fast.
I would say the customer service is good, but I can’t, because I don’t know it he told the cook to make it rare–we were so very clear.
The chili fries are great. They will use cheddar cheese if you want and that is all I will eat on fries, American cheese is not cheese. The chili is great and you get a lot of it.
My husband’s burger was very good. He loves the avocado on it.
We will try again, but they better make it the way I want or tell me they can’t so I can be on my way.
The prices are fair for what you get and they make the food to order.

I had their biggest burger, literally is huge 2/3 lbs added avocado. I was surprised that it was so good. The gentlemen making the food was very friendly and explained every step. I will be back to try their other burgers.

I live fairly close by so have been wanting to try Howard’s for quite some time because I pass it often. This past weekend I finally got the chance and overall thought it was pretty good. It’s located in a small shopping center with free parking right out front and it is more of a to go type of establishment, but there are a few tables inside. Pricing is also pretty fair, especially compared to other places around town. The woman behind the counter was very polite and everything that we ordered was made very quickly.
I will say that the burger was the highlight of the meal. I ordered the 2/3 lb Burger which is their largest and added avocado and thought it was pretty good. Not the best I’ve had in town but much better than a lot of other ones. We also tried the fries which were so so , the same with the BLTA. The bacon was crispy, which is how I like it, but overall the flavors were kind of bland. The corn dog we were not very big fans of so it makes me not really want to try their hotdog.
Overall a pretty good burger spot and I would recommend if you are in the area but not sure if I would recommend to travel far for it. I plan to give it another try in the future.

Stopped here finally after driving by a million times. Tried the bacon avocado burger and it was very average in terms of quality, flavor etc. the patty was similar to what you would expect from a place like Burger King or Mcdonalds. The bacon was nice and crispy which was good, and the all the produce seemed fresh. But Overall – a boring version of what could have been amazing. Fries were fresh, and good texture but also very average. Service was friendly and nice. 5/10

Great burger. Portions were all correct. Didn’t slip around too much. Crispy bacon. Creamy fresh avocado. I will definitely go back again. Also got chili cheese fries but I took them with me so they got a bit soggy. They were still good. Also love the chile peppers.

Well—I can’t be an accurate judge of fame when it comes to avocado and bacon burgers—nonetheless, Howard just gave me a metric with which to compare. The burger was great—not greasy at all, with healthy doses of avocado and bacon. The bacon, nicely cooked. Crispy but still flavorful.

Service was great, food was amazing!! We both got the avocado bacon cheeseburger and an order of chili fries and they were both sublime. Order came out to be about $22. I gotta give props to the lady behind the counter- seems like she took the orders and cooked all the food! Definitely a worthwhile visit.

CASH ONLY. We got the Howard’s Special Combo and a Turkey burger. They let me swap French fries for zucchini fries. Everything was really delicious and the prices are very reasonable. I am interested in trying the hot dog or the taco next time.

Do not order the tacos. What a disgrace. They cut a burger in half and add it to a warm corn tortilla with melted cheese on it a small slice of tomato and some old lettuce. Barely edible. Also, with Avacado in the name of the restaurant, one might expect a slice of avacado. Especially when they ask if you want everything on it.

Idk, mayo on my burger was not what I expected. I added bacon avocado and it didn’t hit the spot. I also order chili cheese fries and they were okay. I guess I use to homemade dressing and decent chili cheese fries
