I have been eating Rispoli cake: vanilla, with strawberry, cannoli, rum and whipped cream for over 50 years…its the best. Love the pasteries…all legit.
A true gem. I also heard they had a pop up shop in Ridgefield for Thanksgiving 2025.

Before I learned how to make reels, I previously posted about this locally owned bakery on Emerson Plaza East across the street from the Emerson Train Station.
I enjoyed the desserts so much that I wanted to explore more sweets and treats.
Explore the small pastries or indulge in the large desserts.
Chocolate Éclair:
This dessert was filled with creamy vanilla custard.
The only problem was I ordered the smaller size, but I quickly learned my lesson and will definitely purchase the larger éclair next time.
Lobster Tail:
This pastry has a flaky crust with crunchy exterior and is filled with chantilly cream. Due to its shape, it is definitely a perfect dessert version of the popular seafood
Chocolate Mousse Bar:
Calling all chocolate lovers! The chocolate sponge cake has a layer of mousse with ganache on top. It’s so chocolatey, you’ll start to crave chocolate the same way Chocolate Boy yearns for this sweet treat.
Tiramisu (not pictured):
If you are a fan of coffee flavored desserts, the tiramisu is right up your alley. In addition to coffee flavor, there is also a perfect amount of mascarpone cheese with chocolate cocoa.
Napoleon (not pictured):
You won’t find any black and white swirls on this napoleon, but the taste is still phenomenal. The spongy cake is soaked in rum. It has a crusty texture and layered with vanilla custard cream. There is definitely more than a fair share of powdered sugar sprinkled on top
It was a pleasure re-visiting this bakery and further exploring more desserts.

It’s very nice, I love everything they sell from cookies to my top choice lobster tail with fresh cream, the espresso coffee is a delight. You can order everything super fresh and tasty.

Excellent bakery with THE most incredible Lobster Tails you’ll ever find. Their Chantilly cream is unmatched- so light, airy and not too sweet. I live about 10 minutes from the former Ridgewood location, but I’ll still gladly drive the extra 15 minutes to Emerson. The ONE critique I have is- they stopped making the Cassata’s with the Chantilly & chocolate ganache.
I almost felt like crying when I found this out. Rispoli’s NEEDS to bring them back. Pleaseee, I’m begging. The Lobster Tails are the superstars, but the Cassatas are the unsung heroes.

If you want amazing lobster tails, you have to try this place!. I drive 30 mins from rockland whenever I’m craving for one , worth the drive & money, coffee it’s also good, you make your own. Staff are always friendly, establishment is always clean, they have outdoor seating.

I ordered a cake for my sister’s birthday and I cannot fully express how phenomenal it was. It was decorated beautifully and tasted so delicious. I can tell a lot of love and effort was put into it. My sister spent about 30 minutes taking pictures with the cake itself before letting us dig in because she was so in love with it! I know where I’ll be ordering all my cakes from, from now on!

I had no idea Ripoli made custom cakes till I stopped by for a cannoli cake for my husband’s 50th birthday last week. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they did a phenomenal job! I was obsessed with how great it turned out! And…it was so delicious guests were going back for seconds, the cake was devoured! Thank you Rispoli for making his milestone birthday extra special!

Every time I go there everyone is happy, wonderful, I drive there from West Caldwell to buy the Lobster Tails!!
I work at Newark Airport when I would work early mornings I would go there before going home to surprise my wife!! And I work for Clifton and we will actually have Uber eats deliver a dozen at a time!!

All I can say is Rosemarie was exceptional in helping me with my daughter’s Sweet 16 Birthday Cake. She made my daughter’s vision come true. She even recommended a marscarpone and raspberry filling that was so yummy. My guests all said how delicious the cake was. She also helped me last minute with cake pop favors that were so cute. Rosemarie and Rispoli’s are hands down “the best!”
