We’ve eaten at Golden Corral restaurants across the USA. This has been the best one and probably one of the best restaurants in any category!!
The food was fresh and delicious. Even the sirloin was tender and seasoned well… better than a few steak houses. The salad bar had great variety, as did the dessert kiosk.
Our drinks were kept full and the staff kept our table cleaned. When they saw we had steak, they came over to ask if we needed steak sauce. They were more attentive than any high-end restaurant staff we’ve encountered!

Clean, plentiful, good tasting stuff. Lots of healful choices there without breaking the dieting bank. $20 and a little change bought an iced tea and lunch. Fish, chicken, shrimp, brussel sprouts, bean, green beans, salads, okra, and other healthful choices. Dishes were presented well and tasted pretty good.

We were here at 12:30 and all the lettuce in the salad bar was brown and nothing was filled. We used to love golden corral and I notice the quality has gone way down. The dessert bar had a lot but almost everything we tried was stale. This restaurant could use a good cleaning.

Worst Thanksgiving yet, we came about 7:45 no food left. I had to work on the holidays and still expected a good dinner. I’ve eaten here every year for thanksgiving. There wasn’t but pieces and shreds left of meat, no pumpkin pie and whipped cream. Which is always a main for the holidays! The banana pudding was gross, no cheese sauce for vegetables or macaroni. The entrees and food wasn’t restocked. No steak that I could see this year, No ham, scarcity and sparcity at its finest. That was it and for more than a hour before closing I expected a lot more! This restaurant has really gone down hill I don’t care what time it is, I feel like I got cheated and wasted out of my money. Diner beware they don’t care if there isn’t anything left they will still charge you full price coming in the door! I saw families with kids with barely anything on their plates. I felt so bad for them. It’s not the inflation, or shrinkage even the pandemic this was purely I don’t care about my patrons. Or the ones who eat here every year. This ruined my thanksgiving. I don’t recommend them at this time, I will be reconsidering my options next year! For Christmas dinner as well. It’s bad enough the quality has gone down hill over the years but this is unacceptable. Golden Corral needs to reevaluate their approach, management and the food. Or less people will want to eat here any longer.

Honestly pretty average food and the desserts don’t get rotated fast enough due to the lack of people taking them. Saw flies around the area as the desserts have been left there for some time.
Their steaks are usually overly charred on the outside but the insides are actually cooked to your liking. If you’re fine with burnt meat you should be ok.
Managed to try their Turkey and Ham and it was cold. Left of the cutting board waiting for people to take them.
However, the servers are all very friendly and came to check on me pretty regularly. The booths are very compact and there’s not much space between the seats and table.

it’s a golden corral. it’s the closest thing we still have to luby’s. it’s bland, warm, comfort, wrapped in questionable whipped cream and safe egg holding temperatures. if you’re there, it’s cuz you wanna be.
this one is especially clean and has friendly staff. the kitchen staff is good about refilling.

What can I say about this place? First time I’ve been to a Golden Corral, I wish there was a Golden Corral in every town. Food selection is awesome, service is great, and price isn’t that bad!

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Golden Corral buffet and was impressed by the extensive range of options available. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, including beef steak, chicken, fish, and prawns, as well as a selection of salads and desserts.
The quality of the food was good, and I was pleased to see that the staff were attentive and proactive in refilling the food tables. The restaurant also has ample space to accommodate large groups, making it a suitable option for families.

UPDATE…..Its been 3 yrs since we last went and had a horrible experience. This time was much better. Some food was cold but that’s to be expected at any buffet I think. The staff was very helpful and quick with drinks. The steak was a bit rough,but tasted ok. Mac and cheese was excellent and the fried shrimp too. Kids loved all the fresh desserts.
Nooooooo. I had prime rib here and I got sick the next day for about 3 days. Definitely food poisoning. It’s a shame too because they have such a big selection. And it was almost $50 for 2 adults and 1 child

When you go to Golden corral you know what to expect. You know the type of food that they have and most of the time the experience is the same.
This time though, my server was Talon that young man was super respectful helpful and was by far the best customer service I have ever received at a Golden corral. Not only did he make sure I was well taken care of, but also during his down time he will make sure the location was kept clean. He does not take down time to relax. This guy is non-stop. If I ever open up a business I will be looking for Talon to offer him a job.
