Had an amazing experience at Gallo Giro in Santa Ana! The food was absolutely delicious — everything came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.

Still some of the best tortas in town fully loaded with fresh avocado and grilled onions and really good meat. The only thing is that it takes too long to get your torta and it’s a bit expensive compared to other places. However, it’s a really good torta!

i got a chicken torta for $10.99 and it weighed ~16oz… i also got a ham and cheese breakfast burrito for $6.99 and it weighed ~19oz…
they also had a self-serve hot sauce bar; i liked their red hot sauce…. i should have gotten more…
the torta was OK… i’ve never been a big fan of tortas, but i wanted to try it here… it had a lot of chicken, cheese, avocado, onions/peppers/lettuce… filled me up…
the breakfast burrito was also decent; i thought it was great value for $6.99 though…
if i come again, i’d skip the torta and just get 2 breakfast burritos, maybe try their tacos…

The food is a scam. I ordered the grilled chicken torta with combo and the combo is basically eight chips and no salsa (you have to ask for it). They didn’t even offered me the soda and the agua de sabor cost an additional 2.50. They weren’t clear with the pricing or what it included. The food is also a small serving size. I am not coming back here. All of this was 20 usd. Stay away from this place, you’ll pay a lot for peanuts and for something that it doesn’t taste great.

I don’t ever review places unless it’s a know issue. Don’t order here if you expect people to read. I’ve grown up around Santa Ana for 30 years and recently going back practically the last five years it’s always something. I order no jalapeños on a torta simple request not really an extra step just removing something EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Jalapeños if not extra jalapeños. I ask them please please please no jalapeños and without fail jalapeños. I don’t come here often now even less. Please get your act together VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. I tried to get the cashier attention and she just dismisses my request. Very upset and disappointed.
