We had ice cream cones here just before boarding the Durango Silverton Train!! It is in a perfect location for a final treat before leaving Silverton. We all found a flavor we liked. There is a gift shop here as well where we bought a couple of postcards.

I walked into this ice cream shop to grab a couple of napkins because a family member was outside throwing up and I was trying to help them. The woman behind the counter gave me a dirty look and told me the napkins were only for customers. Instead of showing even a little compassion or concern, she seemed more worried about where they were throwing up than actually helping. I wasn’t asking for much—just a few napkins in a moment of distress—and was only able to grab two. Really disappointed by the lack of basic human decency.

There is no better place in Silverton to get ice cream and milkshakes!! Holly is so friendly and this is the kind of business that gives Silverton its “soul”.
