Honestly, this is the smart way to do it. The lunch specials around $15 are ridiculously generous, always piping hot, and taste fresh off the wok. It’s blissfully quiet, too. Perfect for escaping the noise.

My husband and I took our friend here for dinner one evening. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing, especially compared to previous visits when the service was much better.
When placing our order, I asked for a jug of water. Despite seeing jugs being delivered to two other tables, ours was repeatedly overlooked and I had to ask three times before it was finally brought out, which was frustrating.
Our friend ordered coconut rice and was told it wasn’t available, only to then be informed that it could be made but would take an additional 15 minutes. This was confusing and poorly communicated, though our friend was patient enough to wait.
Overall, the service felt inattentive and disorganised. In my opinion, customer care no longer seems to be a priority, which is disappointing given our past experiences.

The taste has lost flavour and lacks the authentic touch. You can see in the photos the papaya is not meshed well , lack of flavour no crab and just watery
The pad kee mao is bland and has no wok kee flavour and undercooked. Also lacking colour

wow terrible the prawn cakes were nice but over fried but the pad thai was discusting the worst awfull taste the bits of meat were tiny ofcuts from other cuts only thing good was the one prawn thet had noodles terrible thin and gluggy like plastic just terrible dont know if it was sweet or salty just a awful taste give it a miss if you must tell them to cook prawn cakes properly i wont be going back if they cant get pad thai right they got no hope yukkkk

Small but charming. The cuisine is wonderful, and the flavours are fantastic. I had the Baramandi green apple salad, green curry, and barbecued cow tongue. It’s a bit pricy for three people, but you can never say no to ox tongue!

Since they renovated this place seems the staff attitude change. I’m about to pay the bills but seems the lady cashier was chatting too long enough to another lady, I gave her a sign of bills. Instead she told me “wait I’m still talking to her”! What the heck!

Hear me out…my partner lived in Thailand for 4 years and said the food at Valley Thai is just as delicious as the street food in Bangkok (suburb Lad Phroa) and we’re talking super fresh, spot on comparison! The larb chicken is to die for, yummy fresh veggies, rice was perfectly cooked and I always go for curry puffs. Our dinner also arrived quickly, we dined in and the service was excellent. I knew it would be good because the number of pickups for takeout kept coming the entire time we were there.
