Unfortunately, our recent visit here was really not a good time. We got on the Waitlist The hostess was wonderful. But unfortunately, We never got a text that our table was ready And we waited about 25 minutes After watching people walk in and get seated Approach the hostess stand to see about our table. They seated us right away, which was wonderful, but as we were waiting and just observing the place, you could tell that most of the employees just had a horrible attitude. There was one female employee with two buns in the back of her hair She was lovely, friendly, and accommodating. There was also an older bartender gentleman who was great with a smile on his face. He actually delivered some of our food with a smile. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was pretty horrible. Our waitress on the patio a stout woman, who had longer hair and glasses. Never smiled once and could’ve cared less definitely didn’t even introduce herself. I probably could’ve lit our table on fire and she would have grabbed one of our waters poured it out and walked away. When we got our appetizers All the fried foods were completely burnt Dark brown. The pickle spears that were used to be fried were really old you could tell By the taste. French fries were dark brown and flimsy. I ordered a beer that came out like I would never in my life have delivered a beer to someone’s table. I’ve been a bartender over 20 years and this was an absolute insult. I took a picture of the Beer. It looked like someone had already been drinking out of it a few gulps. It was a 10 ounce and you can see in the picture that it’s not even poured up to about 6oz . When our server came back, I told her I was good on that beer. I was definitely not going to drink that. She’s simply grabbed the beer and walked off. Needless to say, it just was overall a really poor experience. Luckily, we are great people and we enjoyed our ourselves in our own company and a little bit of food that did taste decent But we will never be back here that’s for sure. I definitely will not recommend this to anyone that asks me where to go in that area when they come visit me at my bar.

Fire On The Mountain nails what it does: great wings, tons of sauce options, and an easygoing, no-frills vibe that makes it a Denver favorite. What really stands out is their support for local creatives. I had my artwork displayed and for sale in the space, and it felt like a genuine extension of the community they’ve built. A fun, welcoming place to eat well and support local art at the same time.

Delicious wings and fries, came out super quick and was priced fairly. I ordered the “Buffalo Blue” flavor boneless wings, and they were not remotely spicy. I prefer spicer wings, so be bold when ordering here if you’re the same.

This place was pretty awesome!! Located in the highlands neighborhood, it’s a cool little spot that feels like a good neighborhood hang, with great food and a nice drink selection! The wait staff was awesome! Very attentive and helpful with all the questions we had regarding the menu! My son and I are indecisive and like to try new spots and let the server just surprise us with our food selections. They didn’t disappoint today!! We started with the Buffalo FOTM fries, which are fresh cut fries covered with Buffalo sauce, blue cheese crumbles, and green onions. The fries were hot, crispy, and fresh! Next, the waitress selected the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and The Julio. The Nashville chicken sandwich was a huge hand-battered breast covered in Nashville Hot oil, house made pickle, and served on a fresh brioche bun! We got it with tater tots, and they may have been the best tots I have ever had!! So crispy on the outside. Fluffy and potato-ey on the inside and perfectly seasoned with a house seasoning that is just the right amount of saltiness and a touch of sweet!! They were incredible! The Julio is a Grlled chicken breast, bacon, fried jalapeños, housemade queso,
Lettuce, Tamato, Red onion, and a garlic aioli served on a Ciabatta roll. The sandwich was flavorful and tasted fresh. The bread was toasted and still soft and east to eat, which isn’t always the case with Ciabatta. It came with fresh cut fries, and they were seasoned in the same house seasoning as the tots, and they were so good!! We also tried the vegan wings with the raspberry habanero sauce since we had never had a vegan wing before, and they weren’t bad. I’ve never had anything like it, so I have no idea if they were a good version or not. To me, they were like a fried meatloaf cube. But the sauce was very good. Spicy with a touch of sweetness. Overall, we were pretty happy with our experience and would definitely recommend giving it a try!

One of my favorite wing spots in Colorado. Lots of options for sauces with different heat ratings. I always come for the Extra hot and El Jefe, which both are very spicy and well made. Their rasberry habenero is a must try as well. Not crazy hot but different from the normal mango habenero that most other places carry. They serve local beers on tap and have a good selection of other drinks. The bar is small and indoor seating is comfy. Outdoor covered seating offers more tables. They have weekly specials on drinks and Happy hour is Mon-Friday 3-6p.m. I highly recommend coming in, again, the wings are bomb!

Honestly some of the best wings I’ve ever had! Even though the wings are smaller (because they use chicken w/o steroids), it’s worth it because of the flavor! I got the “El Jefe” & “Cilantro Lime” flavors for the sauces and wow they were absolutely delicious! Beware the El Jefe flavor is SPICY!!! It’s made with capsaicin so it’s really spicy even for spice lovers like myself, but I’d eat it all over again. Highly recommend to come here on Tuesday for some good wing deals (and $7 burgers!), but there’s deals every day of the week too.
