We had the absolute best experience at Ocotillo for their Valentine’s Dinner event this year. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt special.
The food was outstanding. What really made the evening exceptional though, was the service. The staff was attentive and genuinely friendly.
It felt upscale but still welcoming, the perfect balance. We’ll absolutely be back for future events and highly recommend not missing their next special dinner.
Five stars all the way.

SECOND VISIT- This visit was better than my first. I was told the patio is dog friendly but we were seated way off under a pergola and felt forgotten about.
The apps were great and my companion said the artichoke dip was some of the best he’s ever had.
The homemade corn tortilla chips were my favorite And a great addition to my corn dip =)
FIRST VISIT- Overall, I’m happy to come back at sunset and try the tacos.
In this evenings dinner, the flavors were there, but I wish there was more…. more Brie on the Brie sliders and more Beef in the Beef Stroganoff.
First off, tomatoes were added to the sliders, which wasn’t listed on the menu, and a sliver of Brie, which offered little Brie Flavor or richness to the Brie Sliders. The chuncks of Beef in the Beef Stroganoff were tiny morsel size and not very appealing to the eye. I actually thought there was a mistake because at first glance, the dish looked like Chicken Alfredo. Both our garlic bread had a crouton crunch and, in my opinion, would have been great on a French onion soup.

I have had the pleasure of tasting many of the dishes at Ocotillos and I have to say it is consistently filled with flavor. The portion sizes are perfect. Something I specifically enjoy about coming to Ocotillos is the atmosphere you are brought into. During the day it is a fun place to hang out with your friends and enjoy the views of the monument and at night it has a classy, romantic atmosphere. Some of my favorite dishes are the salmon tacos, chicken pot pie and the caesar salad. I always enjoy the wait staff and their efficiency.

Russell was amazing! He has a great personality and sense of humor and made the experience even better! My husband and I sat outside on the patio to the amazing view of the valley. Our drinks were super tasty, and the food was awesome! We had the short rib sliders, nachos and birria tacos. Will definitely be back!

Our first experience here was decent. We were not made aware that the full menu was not available ahead of time; but a downsized one was offered instead. ( No notice online about this). The service was okay. Our waitress was a sweet girl. We were checked on so many times, I almost felt harassed. Being that this place is loud and over priced ( more than The Winery downtown GJ), we likely won’t be returning anytime soon.

Great entertainment last night and service was excellent. The Mediterranean chicken was not as described, it was a tomato “sauced” dish, no olives, no hint of white wine or garlic and probably less than half a chicken breast cut into strips. Pretty generic Greek salad again with no olives – not worth the price at all. The fish and chips were excellent but the portion size is much smaller than it used to be.

We came for the valentines special and it was amazing! Atmosphere was great and staff were very friendly and attentive. The manager Kate made sure everything was perfect for us. Will be back soon!

Horrible! Do not go to this restaurant. The rating is an anomaly. It was the worst experience at a restaurant in my 60 years of life! Made a reservation for five for a special, important night. The waiter ignored his tables and obviously didn’t anted to be any place but at that restaurant. We sat for 35 minutes patiently. When we asked for help, the employees had blank faces. The bartender stood around with nothing to do and not surveying the situation. Two people from our party tried to kindly talk to wait staff to just get a drink and some bread. They didn’t care! And, there was not a manager in site.

The views were very pretty. The hot honey cheese cake was tasty. The tacos on the other hand to be honest didn’t land for me they were very dry, didn’t have any flavor, and the tortillas just broke apart.

This restaurant has some of the best views in the Grand Valley. Located in the Redlands golf course, it has a large patio that overlooks the course as well as the Colorado National Monument. The decor inside is very nice. No one I’ve dined with here has had a bad meal. Tacos and burgers and salads are always reliable as well as the fish and chips. Wish they had more vegetarian and vegan options however. Taco Tuesday is popular, and there’s live music on Friday nights. There’s a happy hour daily on weeknights.
