Wife and I gave this new restaurant a try. Fish, chicken, clams and fries were great. Food came out quickly. Employees were attentive, polite, helpful and smiling. I asked for a spical request of the cook which was kindly granted. Restaurant was new, tastefully decorated and clean. Given todays environment prices were reasonable. Unfortunately the chicken wings although initially looked impressive in size were very very fatty and unpleasant because of this. I would respectfully suggest you look for a new chicken wing distributor. Otherwise it was a nice experience.

I’ve been here twice and it’s not been anywhere near busy enough for how good the food and service are. You need to eat here.
I saw the advertisement for the giant hot dog on Instagram and decided to head over and see if the Big Dog was going to live up to the hype. Happy to say it did. It’s two massive hot dogs on buns with the world (mustard, onion and relish) with a generous portion of fries. I found the hot dog to have good flavor, good snap the bread was toasted just right to be soft with a nice crunch. Toppings maybe a little heavy but really it’s impressive. The fries are a standout side perfectly crispy on the outside soft in the center and well seasoned. Staff was exceptional. Prices were very reasonable and the menu is broad. Food came quick and was freshly prepared at 7pm.
This restaurant fills a gap in the local area and is going to be a hit. Easy parking, good location and a well lit dining room. I can’t wait to go back and try more things off the menu.
Came back for round 2 and got the fish tacos. Again great food. Solid presentation, well seasoned, with a great ratio of ingredients. 5/5 would eat again.

Went and tried this new place with my boyfriend cause we thought it’d be a nice little treat… we were wrong.
Upon walking in, we were greeted by the nice workers, and our order was taken promptly and our food arrived very quick… probably the only good two things.
My boyfriend order the “Chix and Fish”, and I ordered the “Chix and Shrimp” for reference, which costed a total of almost $36 without the tip. When our food arrived, we thought it looked pretty good, until picking it up and having the haddock and shrimp fall apart while trying to dip it in our sauces which was a real bummer. The even bigger issue is when we got to the chicken.. it seemed a bit raw, and made us both completely lose our appetite and start to feel somewhat nauseous. We decided to not even finish our food and leave. Ever since leaving my boyfriend and I both have had an achy feeling in our stomachs and not feeling well.
Was very disappointed with the food even more because we were very excited to try this new establishment.

Fish & Chix is fantastic! This newly opened restaurant in Derry has yummy food, friendly service and fun atmosphere. I had the fish tacos. They were so good. The fry on the fish is excellent. I tried scallops and clams from my friends’ dishes. Yummy! I brought home a fried chicken sandwich to my son. He loved it and wants to get it again. Looking forward to going back soon!

Grabbed 2 fish sandwiches today with fries to go. I don’t have any pictures because the food was so appetizing I dove right in. 5 stars on food since it was all quality and well seasoned, as well as nicely cooked but not overcooked or over breaded. The moment I walked up to the counter I was greeted and asked if I had a pick up order, that’s 5 star service. The atmosphere was good, place was clean and well lit ( almost harsh lighting) but I’ll give them a pass since it’s hard to please everyone on that 4 stars atmosphere. Maybe I’ll eat in next time and change to 5 …and add a picture or 2 thanks guys great restaurant!

Went to the grand opening on Nov. 2 and my wife and I enjoyed our experience overall! The lady that took our order seemed a little puzzled by the POS system and it probably took about 4 minutes just to ring in our order. We got the Wings and Fish combo, the Surf and Turf Smash burger, Mac and cheese and onion rings. We waited about 20 minutes for our food but it was the first day and there was a lot of people waiting too so no big deal. The burger tasted like it came from your neighbor’s backyard BBQ but in a good way! The lobster was very flavorful as well and tender. The mac and cheese was excellent and fairly priced! The fries were a little cold but had great seasoning. The wings were good, like your typical fried chicken wings with salt and pepper breading, and juicy. The only part of the meal that was kind of underwhelming was the onion rings. I was expecting thick rings of onion with a tempura style batter, instead they looked like onion straws coated in flour then fried. Overall, Fish & Chix has outstanding potential and we will definitely come back in a couple months or so to see how they’re doing! Thank you Fish & Chix!

It opened in November 2025 and serves up fried seafood, chicken, sandwiches, and more in a laid-back, fast-casual setting. My family of six stopped in for dinner, and even with a steady crowd, all our meals came out in about 10 minutes — super fast! I ordered the Wharf Boss ($24), which came loaded with shrimp, scallops, clam strips, fried fish, and crispy fries. The seafood was hot, fresh, and well-cooked. The shrimp were large pieces, not the tiny kind you usually get, and they were cleaned and de-tailed — a nice touch. The coating was crispy and flavorful, though a bit greasy, and the fries had a great crunch.
They’ve got a ton of sauce options, which is always a plus. My only small critique: the main menu board is tough to read because of the font, but the smaller printed menus are much easier to read.
I also met the owner, who was genuinely friendly and clearly passionate about his place. Overall, Fish & Chix is a great addition to the area — fast service, good portions, and great food for the price. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Derry!

Very clean amazing place with amazing portions on French fries. Amazing sauces and service. Place a watch the game. Brand new building. Good prices. Chicken tenders could be a tad bigger but otherwise very fresh and good. The fish is very good for being a fast food joint but batter needs to be a little thicker because it falls apart in your hand, Overall 4.7 out of 10. Plan on coming back more often

While the establishment was clean and well-organized, I was disappointed by the food quality. My fried fish and shrimp arrived less than five minutes after ordering, an impossibly fast turnaround for fresh seafood. Unfortunately, while the center of the fish was piping hot, the texture and taste clearly indicated it had been pre-fried and reheated in a microwave. It’s a shame to spend money on a meal that lacks freshness; I won’t be returning.

What a GREAT addition to Derry’s restaurant choices. My wife & I tried the new Fish & Chix today for lunch. Very open, clean & accommodating. Much more seating than I expected.
The best part of course was the food & service. I had the fish tacos All ingredients were sooo fresh, clean & delicious. The fish was firm & just the right amount of fry. I tried a bite of my wife’s smash burger & just as yummy. The fries & o-rings also delicious!!
Just as yummy as the food are the prices. VERY reasonable & a great value! What brought it all together was the staff, extremely nice, pleasant, welcoming, helpful & efficient. Our meals were out in no more than 10mins. We will be back again & again & telling all our family & friends. Derry REALLY needed a place like Fish & Chix
