Actually kind of sad because this has been one of my favorite places for quality and value and good homestyle food. I guess the quality has taken a hit. It’s like the food keeps getting cheaper and the staff is not but like 0 or 1 stars now. It’s a shame. This location is usually always out of many menu items so by the time we’ve got our order in we’ve made quite a few compromises from what we wanted on the menu. I think it might be time for me to say so long to the cracker barrel

Had the turkey special with stuffing cranberry sauce and sweet potato casserole. Everything was delicious and it was under $10! The store had such adorable items and the clothing was remarkably beautiful. Love this place. Bonus that everyone that works there makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever.

My grilled chicken tenders were over cooked and very dry. My husband had the boneless fried chicken and it tasted like frozen patties instead of fresh. Cracker Barrell use to be one of my favorite places to eat dinner, but the last 4 or 5 times we’ve have eaten there, it’s been awful. They took their roast beef off the menu and replaced with awful pot roast and they changed there brown gravy to something that is not edible. Breakfast is still good there most of the time, but no longer for lunch or dinner.

I have had issues with this location but it’s been a while so I thought I would try again. It was very average. Upon entering, we were seated relatively quickly. It took a bit for our server to show up and he mumbled and spoke so quietly my friends and I all couldn’t hear him. The outside of my water glass was dirty. We were surrounded by dirty tables that were not getting cleaned.
We ordered our food and it came, not too long of a wait. I got the grilled chicken tenderloins and 2 sides, dumplings and carrots. The carrots were dried out, almost like they were reheated in a microwave. The dumplings were okay and the grilled chicken wasn’t bad. There were a couple of bites I got that were gristle and some had burnt marinade on top that wasn’t great. Our bread was sorry- for 3 people we got 4 pieces of bread and they were tiny and undercooked. The meatloaf my friend ordered was burnt on the entire top, rendering that portion of the food inedible. The portion of eggs my other friend got was sorry as well. It was difficult to get refills as well- I left still feeling thirsty. Everything was underwhelming, especially as we have patronized other Cracker Barrels in the area. For $50, our service was pitiful. As you can see in my photo, our butter bowl in the bread basket had some old food crusted onto it.
Plus, we watched the servers “clean” another table. They wiped off some of the table and then put the dirty menu back on. They had left a pile of dirty dishes on the corner. They finally came back by to pick up the dirty dishes but did not clean the table again. Instead, they shifted the items (sugars, salt, etc) to the other side and proceeded to sit another unsuspecting couple at that table. Their cleanliness was not there.

Me and my sister went for a nice afternoon lunch after not seeing each other for months. It was really hard to enjoy my time with her when my server, samantha, had a attitude, wouldnt refill my drink and at some point just completely left the table and didnt come back for at least 20 minutes to give me my check. Never coming back to this location again.

Not sure what was going on at this location recently but from my last visit about a month ago till now, the quality of the food has gone downhill. I had the hamburger steak meal with mashed potatoes , sliced tomatoes and turnip greens. I asked for medium on my steak, it was passed well done and was boot rubber dry. Potatoes were cold. I get that my party and I got there an hour before close , but please don’t let the quality of the food reflect that.

My wife and I were both pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. So much that when a gentleman was done wiping a table off I beckoned him and asked him who the MOD was. His eyes widened as he introduced himself (Chad). I think I made him a little nervous. I proceeded to let him know how pleased we were with our server (Samantha), the quality of the food, especially the delicious, fluffy biscuits. It was the best experience we’ve had at that location. Hats off to the team!!
