Been coming here for decades for the delicious red cinnamon shakes. Sadly, today was a disgusting experience with 2 of the 3 cinnamon shakes with multiple chocolate chips in the bottom and other mysterious pieces of unknown origin or request. The shakes ordered were smooth, not supposed to have pieces of anything which really grossed out those drinking them. We tried to call but the phone number said out of service. Is this under new management? Very disappointing, disgusting and potentially hazardous as my family could’ve choked on the chips, thinking they were drinking a smooth shake. Do better Dairy Hill! You are a legend and this is not up to your usual level.

Fresh Icecream – lots of flavors.
Always packed with friendly folks all waiting in line! But they don’t stand there long – fast customer service has them enjoying their treat very quickly.

You know what sucks? Making a special trip and driving past another ice cream establishment to get to the one that has this sign on its front window.

Maybe mention on google maps that you’re closed for the season?

This place has been owned by the family and extended family for more than 50 years. Affordable prices and excellent ice cream.

Cute little historic ice cream stand/shop. Great summer thing to do, fun local tradition. Yummy treats and great variety. Fast service, updated grounds.

Very good, always a favorite. No inside seating though and parking is limited.

So… I grew up with this place. I’ve been going there since I could eat ice cream as a youngan. Back then, it was awesome. During c0v!d it was terrible. The people were so rude and treated their customers like they were an inconvenience. I went 3 times and couldn’t talk myself into going another time until I heard they aren’t that bad anymore… so, now that I’ve been there a few times (prolly 15 or so) I can give a more updated review… the ice cream is good. It doesn’t taste like cheap store brand. It’s nice and rich. Good texture. That’s soft serve and however they make the Blizzards. Their upside down banana split is one of my favorites. I haven’t had it in a while but I know they changed the chocolate syrup from when it was bad for a while and they’re back to being good again. Every time my wife orders the hot fudge sundae the fudge is only on the bottom (for some reason) and by the time she gets to it there’s just a layer of warm cream on top of a chunk of fudge. It tastes good but, they should put a little on the bottom and put most on top, I think.

The “hot food” last I knew, was terrible, but it’s an ice cream establishment, so I’m not gonna knock’em on it, just mention it. The hot ham and cheese is always cold and the cheese is never melted and the bread (the last 2 times) seemed stale. The hotdogs/coneys aren’t what they used to be. Anything hot from there is just sub par. I think it could easily be fixed though.

The people are great. I don’t know if it’s the same owners from c0v!d but if it is, they’ve turned it around and the super rude girl isn’t there anymore. So no worries as far as the service. They’ve been great since at least last summer.

So, check’em out. They’re trying to bring back the old timey feel.

We have visited this establishment countless times since my childhood. We love the frozen treats!
Also, the staff appears to be taking precautions to make visits as safe as possible during the difficult period we’re going through. Patrons seem eager to abide by guidelines, as well.
Our multiple trips there this summer have been great!
