Mezze dishes were delicious and easy to share. French Toast was very creative and fun. Fattoush was fresh and flavorful. Would come back here, especially for the Kibbeh Nayyeh.

Ilili, Lebanese sharing dishes in a fine dining lens
I was really excited to try Ilili since my husband has been raving about it. There were definitely some hits, but also quite a few misses for us and overall, portions were very small. We ordered 10 dishes for 6 people and still left hungry, so I’d describe this as more of a Lebanese fine-dining experience rather than family-style.
Here’s what we tried:
Rkaykat bil jibneh 4.5/5: The standout appetizer of the night. The cheese pastry roll was flaky, savory, and delicious
Moussaka 3/5: My first time having Lebanese moussaka, I didn’t realize it’s served cold, and personally, it just wasn’t to my taste preference
Beef fried kibbeh 3/5: A bit dry for my taste and didn’t quite hit the mark
Baba ghannou 2.75/5: Not a fan of this hummus, the smoky flavor was too strong for me
Mixed grill 4.5/5: The meats were tender and well-cooked, but again, portions were much smaller than expected
Hearth-baked loup de mer 4.75/5: Loved this, almost boneless and beautifully cooked with great flavor even without the sauce
Phoenician fries 5/5: Some of the best fries I’ve ever had! We loved them so much we ordered a second round
Kebab kerez 3.25/5: The sauce was too sweet and overpowering for my liking
Tuna tartare 3/5: Pretty underwhelming and not very flavorful.
Overall: beautiful restaurant, creative menu, but expect small portions
Stepping into ilili felt like a holiday miracle: festive vibes, twinkling lights, and a tree that sparkled like magic. The private room was perfection, accommodating our crew of 30 with ease.
But let’s talk food… oh, the food! ilili took us on a delicious Lebanese culinary journey. Creamy hummus, mouthwatering fattoush, crunchy falafel… and don’t even get me started on the mains (beef and chicken kebab, halibut on squash purée…YUM!). And those crafted cocktails? To. Die. For.
The service was top-notch, too. Carlos, our waiter, was attentive and friendly, and Jessica, the manager, stopped by to ensure we were all having a blast.
If you’re looking to book your next company event, you know what to do. ilili NOMAD is the place to be. Jessie and the team will make sure you and your guests have an unforgettable time.
The service was outstanding as well. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Lebanese cuisine in the city!
Definitely a place worth checking out.
This meal was a thoughtful gift from our colleagues while my wife was hospitalized for over two weeks. At first, I’ll admit I was a bit disappointed that nothing was pre-cooked — but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Once I followed the instructions and prepared the dishes, the results were phenomenal. We felt like we were having a true feast in Lebanon! The appetizers were so fresh and flavorful, and every bite brought back beautiful memories of authentic Lebanese cuisine.
My wife, our kids, and I absolutely loved it. It turned out to be one of the most heartwarming, delicious meals we’ve ever had — a true gift in every sense.
