It’s been some time since I’ve visited Jim’s burger Haven so I thought i would drop in. It was late and the drive thru was packed so I decided to eat inside. There was a bunch of people sitting throughout the restaurant but none were actually eating anything. I went to the counter and was attended by a beautiful young lady who took my order and gave me a number. I sat at a table and realized why so many people were not eating, they were waiting for their food to be made. My order took about ten minutes but it was well worth it. A massive six inch double patty with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and jalapenos. (Jalapenos was an extra item), small fries and large drink all for under $15. The atmosphere of the restaurant is weird, they play 50’s music because thats their theme but rarely do you see anyone from that era eating there. The burger was smashed, so it isn’t as juicy as it used to be but it’s still very good for the price. Definitely worth visiting, again. Loved their old style, iconic neon sign.

Hi, Happy New Year. I’m writing regarding a very disappointing experience I had today. One of your employees, Anjelica, was extremely rude and disrespectful. I ordered about $30 worth of food, and my kids were really hungry — one of my children is disabled — and I ended up having to drive all the way back to 88th because all of the hamburgers looked like this.
I’ve been coming to this location since I was a little kid, and I’ve never experienced something like this before. This is really upsetting and unacceptable. I would appreciate it if this issue could be addressed and made right.

Aesthetic and vibes were great, got the jimmies, burger, and shake. Shake and side was good, burger was extremely cold and ruined the experience as a whole for a place called “Jim’s burger haven”

I ordered a small burger and onion rings from this place, and it was horrible!! I asked for a plain burger with cheese dry with all veggies and cheese on the side. I live less than five minutes from this location and when I got home they had put the burger on the bottom of the bag, they put all the veggies on top of the burger in lil paper bags and it leaked all over my burger my bottom bun was soaked and the top one was damp. Not eatable as far as I am concerned. Then I open it up to see if I can salvage the patty at least and made a salad out of it. The patty covered half of the bun if that. So I called them back and was told by a young woman that she could either refund my money or make it over. I told her I prefer my money back as this was the third and final time there and not once was it correctly made!!! She then told me I would have to come back today or they could do nothing. I explained that I would have to wait because my niece had gone to work and wouldn’t be home before they closed today. I was then told that is a NEW policy. All I could do was hang up. Then I go to make a small salad with the baby patty and the veggies and find this in the lettuce (see pictures below) I’m done,beware if they mess up your order you better go right back otherwise you are just throwing your money away.

The place was interesting to look at. The restaurant was an old 1920s diner themed. The workers were friendly and happy to remind customers of the type of toppings that are associated with their burgers. The burgers are smashed to perfection.

Heard a lot about this place through videos online. The quality didn’t match what the videos say. The burgers were supposed to have a crispy edge, supposed to have a great flavor, and be fresh off the grill. Only 1 of those was true. They came straight off the grill and were hot. The meat was plain, didn’t even taste like it had salt and pepper. They didn’t get the ketchup on my burger, and the double 6″ was supposed to have crispy edges and it didn’t. The onion rings were good, the shake was basic but good, and the fries are crispy but need more salt. I probably won’t be back. I can buy most of what they serve here at BK but for under $30. It’s cool to visit Jim’s burger haven, but I came i saw i ate. No need to return.

went in and got the jimmy the fries were crispy burnt like tree branches and i got 2 onion rings in the basket smh!! i didnt even go back in, i just dumped em in the lot and left. at least the burger was good but still had onion and tomatoes after requesting them being removed. also my bag sat on the counter for at least 10 minutes before i even got my meal this used to be a great spot, but i will no longer stop in for a bite!

Great atmosphere with the 50’s diner style, the service and staff are absolutely terrible though. I order grilled onions on my burger and they have never once done it the first time and then always act like I’m the issue when I have to ask them again EVEN THOUGH IT’S ON THE RECEIPT! The staff are full of negative attitudes and are rude whenever THEY make mistakes on your order. The food is decent but nothing extraordinary. Good price if you are willing to deal with rude staff that never get your order correctly the 1st time.

Delicious food, with great service. The cashier was friendly when she took our order. Very helpful. When she explained things on the menu. We had their milkshakes and they were amazing, burgers were made out of real meat. They did have shredded lettuce which isn’t my favorite, but everything tasted so good.

Inside is always dirty. People are nicer through drive thru than inside. Prices are too high for their pproduct quality. The difference in their small and large fries are atrocious. You could barely tell the difference between the 2, they look so similar. Had to stop at the local McDonalds to make up for it. Will not return here.
