Hit or miss…. The last time I came a few months ago the pastelitos were terrible & the Cuban bread good, this time the pastelitos were good but the bread terrible. How do you mess up Cuban bread? They gave it to us refrigerator cold & it tasted like nothing. Like cotton or fluff. Zero taste. The deserts in the display looked old and the custard was cracked & dry. They barely had any pastelitos and no guayaba & cheese. Only 2 ladies serving & a horrible line. ( The lady who helped us was very nice though.) Not sure what’s going on at this location. The location at Cutler Bay is better or just go elsewhere.

It’s so refreshing to visit a Latin establishment in Southwest Miami-Dade and see they are playing good American pop music rather than the “asqueroso” reggaeton you hear everywhere in Miami, especially in Latin businesses. And the cakes, pastries and sweets here are very tasty too. Kudos to the owner, for sure a Cuban-American that loves America.

It’s 2 PM and they don’t have any cakes whatsoever!!! Why do they even open their doors? Every day I understand less and less how a pastry shop can operate without anything to sell.

Im a fan of the multiple west Kendall locations but this one is really bad. It’s huge which means they have more employees, but every time I come in here the tables are all dirty and it’s hard to find a seat without having to wipe off bread crumbs and milk spots. The walls are all dirty and it needs major upkeep. On top of it all today I found some type of paper or something inside of my cold croqueta de la casa. :/

Beautiful. Tasty. Great service and very patient staff. Very good for authentic Cuban desserts. I use my Cuban wife as an authority for that claim. Non Cuban treats are here as well, but everything is delicious.

I picked up a cake that was filled with mold. I do not recommend anyone to come to this bakery! They represent public health endangerment!

Been coming here for years but the quality of food has declined significantly in the last 2 years.
Pastelitos are horrible quality and burnt constantly.
Buy the Cuban bread and café con leche along with any breakfast eggs. That is still good…
Update: Since my last review the quality has improved. Pastelitos are a lot better.

Best Cakes in town! Tasty and real cakes to enjoy with family and friends. Forget about the fancy Fondan, order a cake you’ll be really delighted with! I always order here for all my events and always receive compliments for my coconut stuffed cakes! They have raised the prices, but it’s still worthy.

Great place to eat while on the run. Usually I pass by in the mornings or at noon. Today I was a little late and I desired to write a review. Love this place at lunch and breakfast. Must order here 3 times a week.

This place is hit or miss but mainly miss with service and freshness of food. Pastries can be fresh or old it’s a role of the dice same with service.
