Pete’s used to be a strong alternative to Starbucks (which has gone downhill lately), but the stores are dirtier and understaffed more and more. Employees are pleasant but not warm, and typical walk in order time takes 20-25 minutes. This store in particular is understaffed with only a single employee making coffee for walk ins and mobile order. Lattes are $7 plus tax – perhaps if they charged $10, they could offer a better experience. If you value your time, find another place that respects it.

Worst run Peet’s ever. They took 20 min to make 2 drinks.
They also made the drink poorly too. Might as well drive up to the one on Bollinger! MUCH better and friendlier

I’ve been to this location a few times now, and Kim is amazing! I truly appreciate her exceptional customer service—it always makes me happy to see her. She’s so sweet and welcoming!
This time, we got a caramel frappe and an almond croissant, and I have to say, Peet’s has the best almond croissant. Always a great experience here!

Honestly I’m fed up with this location. Third time I’ve gone where the coffee is shot is so weak it’s like drinking the milk only and they SCALD the milk so you need to wait thirty minutes before you can even sip it. Sadly this Peets is not up to the standards of the rest of them.
The workers are very nice though, but that doesn’t make up for the poor coffee experience.

The iced strawberry matcha is basically like drinking milk and strawberry puree. Not enough matcha and way too much milk and ice. Rip off/stingy. Ask for Dylan to make it you for you though, and it will be amazing! He knows where it’s at and actually cares about making good drinks.

I love peets but the drinks at this specific location are HOT. If you’re not gonna give us sleeves to hold the drinks then you need to tone down how much you’re heating up the milk. I’ve nearly gotten burned from just holding the cup for more than 20 seconds.

Last Saturday, there were only two employees in the early afternoon. It appears the online orders goes before the in-store purchase. We order hot chocolate and a coffee. We waited at least 10 to 15 mins. for the hot chocolate.
Very disappointed with this Peet’s.

I visit this Pete’s coffee quite frequently. I was going to Starbucks but I discovered I like the coffee at Pete’s better. The app is reasonably easy to use once you figure it out and you can tip the barista‘s easily compared to Starbucks. The employees are really nice. Once I was in a hurry and I scheduled the wrong time to pick up my coffee and some snacks and when I went in they went ahead and rushed it anyway so I can get to my appointment on time. I went back later and even before I could tell them they said last time you were here or you forgot your pumpkin bread and we were hoping you would come back to get it. It’s also across the street from Whole Foods which is next to HomeGoods target is the same shopping center and right across the street is the San Ramon city center. They have a little patio on the side. It gets a little noisy with the traffic but if you want to sit outside it’s available.

The chicken and wake sandwich is my go to accompaniment with their Mocha. Located at the City Center Bishop Ranch, this is somehow the only coffee shop there ♂️

Another really good Peets. Parking isn’t bad (stay away from the first two rows next to the coffee shop!), and the service, seating, and environment are all first rate. Plus, great Peet muffins and snacks are second to none.
Update: regrettably they now often forget orders and leave you hanging for 20 minutes or more. It takes a lot to flag down the heads-down baristas to get them to make your forgotten drink…
