A Goleta classic!! Was in the mood for some quality sashimi and this hit the spot!
From the service to the quality cuts of the fish this place is the BEST! The place was poppin around 6pm on a Saturday so definitely get there early or make a reservation if possible.

I’ll start with positive. The fish on the Hamachi and salmon nigiri was fresh. Big pieces of fish. Now for the constructive feedback. Is the sushi actually made with sushi rice? Did not taste any vinegar in the rice. It tasted like just regular rice. Ordered the spicy tuna roll and shrimp Tempura roll. Would not recommend the rolls, the fish was not as fresh in the rolls as in the nigiri. Mediocre at best. In general, my review of this place would’ve been a little more generous, if the cost value ratio is reasonable. Other reviewers said prices are great? I don’t know what they’re saying or thinking. This place is so overpriced.

Delicious fresh fish and extremely friendly service. Got the chirashu bowl and hot sake and was very happy with both. Service was prompt and super friendly. Interior is basic but clean, and prices are good. Will definitely return next time I’m in the area!

This is an amazing local sushi spot. We celebrated my birthday and the staff was amazing, welcoming and very accommodating. The service was excellent and they were just so incredibly kind. I would highly recommend the generous cuts of sashimi and their special rolls.

Love this hole-in-wall!!! First timers from LA and will definitely be back when I’m in Santa Barbara / Goleta again. Yinh the owner is so warm and welcoming!! She treats you like family. Service was impeccable and the fish is out of this world. Quality is 11/10. Everything melts in your mouth and is full of flavor. Highly highly recommend this place.

Great food at a great price. Met the owner, she was really kind immediately helped us choose what we were going to eat. Lunch prices were very competitive, and the salmon nigiri was as it was supposed to be from our time in Japan, falling over the rice instead of the small portions you usually get in the US. A quaint hole in the wall that serves better food than it looks.

We stumbled onto the sushi house kind of by accident and VERY happy we did.
Large portions, great service and fresh, beautiful fish in a spotless restaurant owned by a wonderful lady. She is a gracious host as well as a caring owner of this spot.
I tend to judge some places on cleanliness and how much care goes into a dining experience and was VERY pleased with Goleta sushi house.

•Sunomono salad fresh, creative with fresh strawberries on top
•Also enjoyed Hamachi and Masago nigiri as well as a spicy scallop roll.

•Free 90 -minute on-street parking.
