Enjoyed dinner at Blue tequila last evening. The food was delicious as always ans the portion sizes were plentiful. They were not very busy which was a bit surprising but we still had to track down our server to order drinks and when we needed refills. Overall a nice dinner out with lots of leftovers.

I met friends for lunch at the Blue Tequila in North Port this week, and it was fantastic.
I can’t remember a time when I’ve gotten better service. Literally everyone was friendly and excited to help us.
The food is great. The drinks were great. The table side fresh guacamole was perfect! They make it your specifications, which was really a treat. I will definitely be back to this local gem.

I’ve eaten it blue tequila for years, it has always been a wonderful place to eat. Since it went corporate, all the familiar faces are gone. And it seems like a strange restaurant. Every time I walk in there. The food has still been very good. I ate there tonight and it was very busy but I managed to get a table. It’s like the kitchen is working at full speed. My food was so hot when it arrived. I had to wait 10 minutes for me to even eat it. It sat there frying in the skillet the entire time. So when I go to eat it it’s overcooked and bland. I missed the old blue tequila. It had a wonderful friendly staff that recognized the regulars and was very friendly. The new people don’t have the same attitude. The only person I still recognized is Ruben at the bar. He always takes times to say hi to me. I will try again. We’re in. The restaurant is not as busy. But I am disappointed in the fact that it’s no longer the comfy homie welcoming establishment he used to be. Sometimes change is not for the good. Corporate steps in and screws up everything. Shame on you corporate

1st experience at Blue Tequila and an Excellent One! Our server Sami was awesome as well as the food & atmosphere! Huge Portions & Great Margaritas! We waited 20 minutes to be seated because it was very busy even on a Monday night, but totally worth the wait & we will be back!

1st time here, definitely coming back! By far the best Mexican food I’ve had. I had the mixed fajita and my wife had the Burrito California. Cant remember the last time I couldn’t finish my meal, so much food! Rice? Fantastic! Fresh Guacamole? Also Fantastic! Cant find anything to say negative. Out server Sami was attentive and friendly. The best beef birrias tacos I’ve ever had. My wife’s chicken soup was amazingly flavorful. The flautas were excellent. Fresh guacamole was perfect. The music was great. The decor is outstanding–super colorful. Be sure to look up at all the blown glass lights on the ceiling.
