We were visiting the museum in town.
The restaurant is on the first floor in a beautiful historic hotel. Our waitress was very friendly, polite and efficient. She even lit the fireplace for us! We ordered the lunch special (quesadillas) and they were served very simple but were fair. Something else from the menu may have been better, and to be honest, it was 30 mins until they closed so that may have been a factor. Still was an enjoyable experience for us!

I went there for lunch and had the special. Which was a prime rib sandwich. It was delicious! The fries were crispy. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great!! We really enjoyed our lunch. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back.

Updated 10-31-2025: enjoyed Halloween on the Square in Elberton, Georgia at the Quarry. Met up with several friends. Enjoyed watching all the children from the window at the beautiful setting in the Quaary Plates n Pours. Manager and restaurant are so nice and make you feel at home. It is nice to have such a nice setting to enjoy our festivities of Elberton. If you have not been to the Quarry Plates n Pours yet, I hope you will give it a try.

I went with the Ladies ministry at our church. I had the Quarry granite chicken with a side salad and a baked potato. Food was very good. Then I had the Cheesecake with Raspberry sauce. I was a little disappointed in the temperature it was served. Too warm. And the piece was very small. I was charged for two cups of coffee when I asked for a refill. Not cool. If you’re charging for that, the customer should be told.

This is my first and last time eating there. I got the shrimp taco special 12.99. i got the 3 flour wrap, shrimps, cream cheese, guacamole, and cheese. No taste and bland. if you like that it is your place but if you want it to have FLAVOR. Don’t waste your money and go to a real mexican food they have around there. i feel that i overpay and they give just little food. The service was good when i came and pick up. the hotel is nice and clean but please don’t get the food.

I have tried that restaurant two times
One time in march and just went back in December.
First time the food wasn’t good at all. Taste less and watery alfredo with over cooked pasta. The steak was overcooked. This time was a bad. Over well cooked ahi tuna, overcooked porc chop all that with terrible drinks. We wanted to give it a second try but that was our last time there for sure.
Its a shame the place look nice. Food is just terrible !!!

Restaurant in a really neat hotel. The food and atmosphere were good. Addyson our waitress was on her A game. The Po boy (shrimp and chicken) were both good choices.

While staying at Russell State Park, we ventured into Elberton to find a place to eat dinner. We are so glad we turned onto the street that had this quaint old town square. The service at The Quarry was excellent. I had the Quarry Chicken, and it was delicious. It was cooked perfectly, had a wonderful flavor, and the quarry sauce topped it off just right. My wife had the Linguini Alfredo with Grilled Chicken. It was superb. The entire dish was perfectly creamy, and the flavor was amazing. We also loved the atmosphere we found at The Quarry. We really enjoyed eating on the patio and looking at the historical buildings. It was also very nice inside, with unique beautiful decor, and no blaring music or TVs to distract conversation. We highly recommend this restaurant!
