Went to this Texas Roadhouse yesterday afternoon for a date, and had some of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had in a steakhouse. To start with we entered the restaurant and we needed two people for a booth the wait was not too long about 10 minutes, although they were not that busy. When we got brought to the table we walked past several tables where the host was trying to set us and there were several uncleaned tables and we ended up having to make our way back to the far back of the restaurant. Not a big deal. The rolls that they give you, were literally burnt. We waited about 8 minutes before a waitress came by to get our drinks where I ordered a blue mocktail which tasted like pickles honestly it did not taste like any of the flavors that were mentioned in the mocktail. So I had to wait for the waitress to come back around to order a Sprite to go with it when she brought me a Sprite it had no ice nor no straw and was only about 3/4 of the way full. At this time I asked for more rolls. Once again I found myself waiting almost 10 minutes to wait for a straw to fit in a cup. We ordered the appetizer platter and they did not have rattlesnake bites so I changed that to fried pickles. The fried pickles were burnt the cheese sticks were burnt and all the cheese was cooked out of them and the boneless chicken wings were the only thing that we’re good on there. After about 20 minutes the waitress came around again to get our steak order I mentioned to her the hollow cheese sticks and the burnt pickles. She brought me two more cheese sticks that were cooked correctly. At this time our steaks had arrived my fiance ordered hers medium rare. And I ordered mine medium, I’ll give you these are $30 steaks cuz they were the 16oz. Both stakes were overcooked.. to a medium well doneness. I asked a different waitress to get me a manager, I went ahead and said mine was fine I can eat it the way it was. When are the manager came she was professional and she removed the 12.99 for the appetizer tray as well as ordered my fiance’s steak to be recooked.. almost 25 more minutes pass by and while I ate my dinner my fiance just ate her sides and waited patiently. When her steak arrived the manager came with it and asked for her to cut it open this time the steak was rare very very pink and very much needed cooked more. Even the manager as soon as she saw it said no that’s not right. I realized that that was not going to be good for the customer. the so the manager took the state to the back to have it cook more another 20 minutes pass at her State comes to her to the correct cooking. We also informed our waitress that.. before the end of our meal we also wanted to place another order for to go. I had to have another waitress go find my waitress so that I can place this order. When I place the order for what we wanted for the to-go order we had already finished eating and then I went to pay for my check and I had to grab another waitress again and my fiance wanted to go ahead and get some dessert which don’t get me wrong there was nothing wrong with the desert. It ended up being cheesecake and she ate that last night and it was wonderful. So when we paid. I still went ahead and gave a handsome tip to the waitress of 20.00 being that it’s Christmas our check was right at almost $100.oo total. Upon getting home checking out the to-go order which was a country fried sirloin only to find that this was also burnt pretty bad and taste horrible so not only two and a half hours at this restaurant and not complaining because there was just a reason to complain but because there was actually problems with the food. With photos provided but also but also left there so dissatisfied, that I felt I had to leave this rating… I think Texas Roadhouse can do much better than this I have ate at many in the past… And I feel like I could have went to a fast food restaurant and had a more satisfying visit.

Update, had Dinner here the evening of February the 14th. We pre registered online, then check in when we arrived. Waited about an hour. Food and service was very good.
We had a good lunch here. Tried the Steak and Chicken Salads this time. Service was pretty quick. We made reservations 20 minutes prior online for a party of 2 for the day following Christmas. Waited 5 minutes outside before being seated. Our Server was great. Overall a great meal.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ – “Adequate” is the word that kept coming to mind.
We visited Texas Roadhouse with a large party—fifteen people in total—so I understand the challenges that kind of table presents. Still, I found myself wondering: “How would the experience have gone if we were just a table of four?”
The ribeye was the focal point of my order. At $29.99, I expected something memorable. Instead, I found myself needing steak sauce—which I normally avoid. The flavor wasn’t bad, but the amount of fat made me question whether that was just this cut or a broader issue. Was this the standard ribeye experience here?
The Caesar salad? Excellent. Fresh, crisp, and balanced—easily the best part of my meal.
The corn? Adequate. Nothing stood out. Not bad, just… there.
The service? Understandably strained. No drink refills during the meal. Given our group size, it raises the question: What systems are in place for managing large parties? We weren’t demanding—just thirsty.
There was also a 1.5-hour wait before we were seated. That’s not unexpected for a popular chain, but it did leave me asking: Was this level of wait matched by the experience we received?
Breakdown:
Food: 3/5
Service: 3/5
Atmosphere: 4/5
Bottom line: It wasn’t bad. But it didn’t feel like $30 steak night either. Something tells me this place can shine—but on this visit, it didn’t quite get there.

We had an awesome experience at Texas Roadhouse, thanks to our waitress, Georgia! She was extremely nice, super accommodating, and genuinely fun to chat with. Her great attitude made the whole meal even better. We’ll definitely be back and will be hoping to sit in her section again. Thanks, Georgia, for the excellent service!

We ordered our food at 6:30 pm online said food will be ready for pickup at 8:00 pm, i arrived texted Here as i was instructed to there reply not ready, i waited 35 minutes walked up to the window and asked if it was ready and was told that online orders come out 1 hour after you place the order, they were backed up and would be another 1.5 to 2 hours maybe. I asked for a refund and she ask me if i wanted to see a manager i said will that get me my food daster she said No.
Customers that order online deserve the same service as the people seating in the building and this wasn’t the case. Will never try to eat here again.

We went for my dad’s birthday and we had 7 adults and 1 child. Our waitress told us she was going to go ahead and take our appetizer order and our meal order but the appetizers would come out first. We got our salads first and then our appetizers and food came out at the same time. They gave my husband the wrong steak and forgot the baby’s food all together. They quickly brought my husband the correct steak but the baby still had to wait. The baby was the only one whose food was hot. They were extremely busy and we understand that but still to only have one meal out of 8 be hot is ridiculous. We spent $300 on food that was cold. My steak was super tender, it and my fries were just cold. Corporate also made a really crappy choice in how they set up the tables and booths in the back corner. We had to basically crawl between the two tables because they were so close if we stood up to try and walk between them our butt would have been in other people’s food. I feel bad for the waitresses that have to serve those corners, they have no room. Overall it was just a crappy birthday dinner for my dad. We won’t make that mistake again.

We received gift cards last Christmas and decided we should use them.
We haven’t been to a TRH in years.
Always enjoyed our visits though I noticed the prices have risen. At this time, we expected this.
Clean, seated quickly and the food was fantastic.
The manager said hello and the waitress took the order.
Brought food and did not see anyone until the bill came.
$50 for Riley plate and roadkill (chopped steak).

Rolls are absolutely not the same as in the past. The shrimp were okay. The salad was good but they were out of croutons. Service was excellent and atmosphere was great! Overall, it was just okay, nothing mind blowing.

Dear Management,
I am writing to share feedback regarding my visit to your restaurant this evening. While the food was enjoyable, the service we received was disappointing.
Upon arrival, our server greeted us with a noticeably unprofessional attitude. It felt as though our presence was an inconvenience, which set a negative tone for our meal.
Regarding the food, the steak fries were excellent and arrived fresh. While the bacon on the cheeseburger was a bit too salty to eat, the rest of the meal was high quality. However, the lack of hospitality was the primary issue. I believe that better customer service would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.
I hope this feedback is helpful for your team’s training purposes.

Got the New York Strip w/ steak fries and salad. Man, that steak was insanely good. Best steak I’ve had in years! The fried pickles came at the request of my niece. Not something I’d choose to get on my own, but I was surprised at how good they were. Can’t wait to come back here to eat again!
