The burger meat wasn’t great either. I’ve eaten out at a lot of burger places and this has to be the worst one I’ve been to.
The milkshake was the only good thing here. It tasted great and the straw was decent too.
I can recommend the Brian Griffin Burger and the Hey You Guys Fries. Not to mention the Millionaire Shortbread milkshake. Other half had a pint of Electric Boogaloo IPA which helped cut through the food.
Ordering at the table with QR code was relatively simple and good if you are a regular. Not having been before meant we needed some assistance with our options, but that was quickly forthcoming. Food came out like lightning too and hardly any wait although we were the first ones in that evening. Also the food was hot, not lukewarm which I really liked.
Careful if you are on a low sodium diet though. Maybe worth bringing this up with the chef before ordering.
Outstanding Food and good music. Can’t wait for them to open in Swansea.
Stopped in for a bite after Christmas shopping, staff were lovely and food hit the spot !
I’m not sure what to make of Burger Boyz and came out feeling a little disappointed but also happy I have been and did not miss out.
The burger itself was amazing and the shake was really good, however it does end there for me as the sides were alittle underwhelming with the halloumi and regular fries both being soft, limp and not crispy as they should be.
The atmosphere was interesting, as I think it’s trying to be something it’s not. For instance, it felt like a restaurant with good service on occasions, but then it felt like a typical takeaway, where you get no real care or service.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a really well decorated and cosy, however the loud music and the bare brick walls made it a loud environment, which for me was abit too much for me and could not speak to my partner the whole night without raising my voice.
Price seemed appealing prior to the visit, but once we finished, we said to ourselves the portions were not worth £50 for 2 burgers, 2 sides, and 2 drinks.
What annoyed me most. When I was trying to relax and enjoy my food, people were coming in constantly, walking through all the tables to collect there orders at the back of the restaurant and then walk out with no regards to there dine in customers.
We are not sure we will be back, and if we do, it would only be for the amazing smash burgers and shakes … and it would be collection only.
UPDATE ON 2ND VISIT
Opinion has not changed, really. I find the prices are very attractive on the menu, but then when you’re there, you can easily go over £25 for 1 person … which is steep for any burger, chips, side, and drink.
I also think they should do away with the whole order at the table via the QR code. If you are charging these prices, then proper table service should be included.
Lovely staff, nice and cosy burger place. You can order via the table or go up to the desk. They have plenty of options of pretty much everything. I went for the Brian Griffin as a double (the peanut butter addition sold it to me), and I’m going back in a couple of weeks for the same!
Also had fries and chicken tenders which came with x 3 sauces of choice, they were all great. I think I’ll definitely try the loaded fries next time.
No parking, that I know of, but we managed to get a space up the road. Remember to book!!
They do offer gluten-free burgers too which is amazing .
The restaurant is very cool and cosy .
They get a 5 star rating from me .
