This place was so cool!
We rode our side-by-sides to this place the back roads from Lincoln MT. It was great and a treat to see the MT countryside.
Marysvale is an unincorporated town and looks like there would be no biz or anything happening but that’s not so!.
They open mid-week and we made reservations since we were a large group. We mingled in bar area before being seated and the atmosphere was definitely rustic but elegant at the same time.
Many of us got the ribeye and it was incredible – best I’ve had!! Their menu wasn’t big, but they had good items.
We would definitely!!! go back.

We’ve been here twice now, and while the service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant, this visit left us disappointed — especially considering the price increase since our last visit. The first time we stopped in for drinks, the prices seemed reasonable, and we left thinking it’d be worth coming back for a meal. After hearing so many good things in the meantime, we finally gave it a try.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the hype. My steak was overdone and didn’t include soup, salad, or even bread, which felt surprising at this price point. The vegetables were cold and tasted like they came from the freezer, and the potatoes were soggy. The restaurant wasn’t busy — only one other table finishing their meal — so the quality issues weren’t due to a rush.
The others in my party also found the food underwhelming, especially considering how long we waited. After a day of skiing, we were hungry enough to eat it, but it wasn’t satisfying. I almost never send food back since it means waiting even longer and eating alone by the time it’s fixed.
I’m giving three stars, hoping it was just an off night, but at these prices, I expected a meal worth raving about. Sadly, it left me questioning the recommendations I’d heard. I might just be too good of a cook myself, but I’m not sure I’d give this place another try.

New owners who are excited with the opportunity to provide a fun and relaxing environment for their guests! Hidden gem in the hills outside Helena. Great service, friendly owners and staff, tasty food and cold drinks with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit for dinner and meeting friends for cocktails. And the ski hill is just 5 minutes up the mountain. Great place!

We came for an early Valentines dinner. This Lil bitty place was packed and we didnt make a reservation. We were happily seated and served the best steak and seafood I’ve had in a very long time! The wait staff was great, food phenomenal, drinks on point! I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Marysville House!!

Best dinner and service we may have ever had at the Marysville House and we’ve been going for years. The prime rib and seafood skillet were delicious and worth every penny. The wait staff was fun, attentive and very accommodating. Will be back!!

Not worth the money nor the drive. New owners have, in my opinion, ruined a great Montana gem in the short time they have owned it. They used to have a great chef who cranked out the most consistent food I had ever had. Sad to say we now make the drive to LaHood for our type of atmosphere and food quality.

Went out to dinner with my fiance and a couple friends and I ordered the 24oz porterhouse. The food came out, I cut into my steak and had a couple bites. It didn’t seem right. I continued cutting into it then noticed a clear plastic wrap on it. The chef seasoned and cooked the whole steak entirely wrapped in plastic. The plastic had all the seasoning on it. I pulled all the plastic off and the meat looked like it was boiled or microwaved which it basically was. The waitress was extremely nice. She said that she really hopes the chef comes out and apologizes. That never happened. I ended up with getting a bacon cheeseburger to go because everyone was done eating. The waitress did the right thing and comped the steak, burger, and our drinks. Hopefully next time I will be able to enjoy a great steak.

Bob has an amazing place! First, steak was perfectly cooked to order and seasoning was on point. Drinks were awesome. Met some amazing people and lots of Bobcat fans! One of the best places i have checked out for my birthday!
