I’m just a fan of these mind-blowing soft serving options for me that enjoy tropical flavors, well balanced (not too sweet to my palate). I fell in love with this great option created by Dole while enjoying the wonderful Santa Fe ice cream and frozen yogurt at Whistle Stop. This is not a paid promotion, seriously, just a happy fan!

Great customer service
Ashby Michigan made ice cream is served here. A local favorite, with a long line on warm Summer nights. The service is great, very helpful and able to answer all questions about the ice cream flavors. Thankful for the sample of the new unicorn Ashby’s ice cream. I’m glad I did not order this new flavor, it was sweeter than I would like. It is filled with frosting and sprinkles, but not for me.

On our one-night stop at Howell we had a nice dinner at Eternity Brewery and since they do not serve desserts we went hunting for ice cream.
We came across Whistle Stop and we were not disappointed.
Small and cute ice cream stand (a caboose), good service, and quick.
They serve Ashby Michigan, rich, creamy, and lots of flavors. One scoop per person was more than satisfying.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Outrageous Prices & Rude Service
Went here yesterday with my wife and two kids. Ordered a small cup of Superman ice cream, a medium yogurt cone, a small half-and-half cone, and a small flavor burst — total came to $15. I asked for a receipt and was told they “couldn’t” give me one. Asked to have the total recalculated, and the employee flat-out refused. The ice cream and supplies might have cost them $2.50 total. Completely unprofessional staff, zero transparency, and ridiculous prices. We won’t be back.

This is a really great place! Made out of a refurbished train car. Lots of great flavors. I had the lemon cheesecake which was delightful. My daughter had the kid’s cookie monster sunday and loved it!

I was just there today always have great experience today I ordered small strawberry sundae for my 5 year old who has a peanut allergy and while eating her ice cream we found what looked like a nut in it. I asked the girl about it she said that’s not a nut but idk what it is I brought it home and it tastes like a walk but I saved a piece of it. I’m really unhappy she could’ve gotten deathly sick. So hopefully this post reaches a manger or someone high up thanks
