I can’t believe I have never been here until the past year.. this place is so good ! I ordered the cook out style burger with chili and slaw, jalapeno fries, and an Oreo peanut butter shake. The shake was DELICIOUS & every shake I’ve ever had from there tastes exactly like what the flavor is & is so so delicious. The burger was good but put together a little sloppy, not too bad. The jalapeno fries were great as well! The service is very friendly & the wait did not take long at all. If nothing else everyone should try their milkshakes ! They have many to choose from

Shanekia took our order and my food was wrong. I ordered 2 burgers with lettuce, onion, and mayo. And 2 milkshakes. When I got my burgers they had added cheese and tomato on both, so we had to go back through the line to fix it. That’s not the issue, when they re made my food I was given back a small burger tiny piece of lettuce on it, not enough mayo, the onion was fine. And on the other burger it had 2 thin hamburger patties on it, the rest was fine on it. I just went to a funeral today so it’s already been a crummy day. Driving 6 hours in total and was looking forward to a couple burgers. Please do better and don’t take it out on people when y’all make an order wrong.

First time trying this franchise as we do not have it in Florida. We stopped by around 9 pm. Service was great, and they were patient as it was our first time. Food was tasty, especially for the price! Best bang for your buck!

I often go for milkshakes. I went for food today and the staff was rude. Tried to rush me through the order and missed an item. All i did was ask for the item (nicely) to be added and the employee got rude and we could hear talk to coworkers. On top of this portions was also off. I got a plate of 2 sides which were cheese curds. Had the same amount as the SIDE of curds I ordered! Would be a nice place if there was a good sense of management watching over employee’s because that is obviously needed. Unless youre getting the shake I’d skip this place!

They have went from good to bad and now they’re back to good for now, it maybe from the people who were working there but the food is very cheap for the amount that they give you and their shakes are pretty good also, sometimes I wished that the shakes came in larger sizes. But the Cajun fries are always good and the burgers are good also. But like I said, they did go bad at one point… I’ve received a burnt corndog, a very hard chicken wrap and also a bacon wrap with little to no bacon on it. So just be mindful and check your food before you pull off, but that’s should be with all of the fast food restaurants because you’ll never know what you’re going to get.

Edit: Cookout had a great service and great food about two years ago. Now the place seems to be run by dimwits that can barely hear or comprehend your order. I had to repeat my order several times before they finally got it right. The food quality has dropped to undercooked products such as their onion rings and soggy fries or over cooked chicken strips that are smaller than mcdonalds nuggets. Milkshakes are questionable at this point and who knows what odd materials you will get in the mix. Go somewhere else.

I’ll start by saying an interesting experience, and in a good way. It’s Cook Out, so we knew what to expect from our great experiences at the Columbus location. Had the Big Double, and it was delicious! It’s just great food, simple, no thrills cooking, and some days, that’s welcoming. You can rarely go wrong with Cook Out. Very friendly staff– very courteous, very professional. Just a bit slow with our orders, but that’s certainly not worth knocking off a star. It’s not that big a deal..
My only knock is it’s drive-thru or walk-up only. Did not know that, and I did not see any signs (maybe I missed it).
