I came in to order a small gender reveal cake for a surprise reveal with just myself and my husband. Despite being very busy with lots of orders this week, Gretchen chatted with me. The timeline for a cake was a longer wait than I wanted so she suggested cookies instead. She had a whole plan in mind of how to use cookies and still make it special and a fun surprise for us. It turned out perfectly and the cookies were beautiful and delicious!! She even added a cute sign inside the box to make it extra clear 🙂 I will definitely be back for other sweets in the future!

Love, love supporting locally owned and operated businesses like this! The owner was an absolute delight. I got the berry filled beignets and I will tell you three was not enough! They were so delicious, I regretted sharing them with my husband. I cannot wait to go back and try more flakey, heavenly, magic filled wonders from this adorable shop! 10/10 recommend, plan to share with no one.

Went twice around Christmas. It was perfect for some high quality gifts and the desserts were wonderful. We tried every brownie they had, caramel, peppermint, etc. The cannolis are very good too. I wish the sign was on the UPS/window side of the shop or I would have stopped in much sooner! Will be back!

Awesome!!! Being English we are partial to scones and these are the best. We haven’t been disappointed with anything.
If you want quality this is the place.
You can also pick up great gifts…. Which I have done.
Super service.

This Bakery is out of this world! I’ve tried macarons from so many places including L’audere in Paris. Gretchen’s macarons are hands down the best I’ve ever had. Super cute shop with lots of fun Knick knacks! I will be going back probably too often .

I went to this bakery shop today and ordered a key lime tart. They shouldn’t call it a tart. The pastry was overworked and flexible. Overly sweet filling like lemon curd didn’t even fill half the tart base and the topped cream tasted like cold butter. It didn’t taste fresh as well. I didn’t taste anything else so not sure about other things. But definitely do not buy tart from here!

However, The atmosphere and service was great!!

Great little locally owned bakery! I’ve been probably 5 or so times, and have tried almost everything except the cinnamon rolls and scones. The cupcakes are great, our favorites are the classic vanilla and lemon. Great cookies and macaroons, my daughter’s favorite is the M&M and strawberry. The real show stopper though is the brownies! It’s dense, moist, and the frosting is to die for. So rich and decadent!

As others have mentioned, the bakery is also a gift shop — great options if you are in a pinch for a last minute gift. Mainly housewares, candles, cookbooks, Rifle Paper goods, etc. Really not a place like it in Castle Pines!

We were told there was a soft opening this weekend. The bakery had a few people on it while one of the owners worked to get listed on a social media platform.
When she was done she offered us a couple of macarons. We had the Cookie & Cream and Strawberry. Both were delicious.
The bakery itself seems small but was brightly lit to show off the baked goods.

This shouldn’t be called a bakery. It’s a gift shop with overpriced sweets. love supporting small business owners in the area we live, I tried- I really tried to love this place. I’m a huge fan of macarons, and pastries and bakeries in general. I’ve been to Europe over 5 times, and have had many great Macarons in Paris.

The young lady who rang me up was very sweet! I’m giving service 3 stars because of her.
The owner was not as warm or inviting as I’d assume. Preoccupied, and did not seem very friendly. I understand people have bad days. We all do. We went for the grand opening and it was a similar vibe, and were giving out 1/2 of a macaroon that was crumbled up, but I thought I’d try again months after their opening.

If you have a sweet tooth and want to buy a couple, you can’t. They are sold in a pack of 5 for $18. If the taste, quality and presentation was better, it may be worth it. I had to spit out three of the first ones I tried, then noticed one was damaged with what looks like a finger that had been through it. I was most excited to try the lavender, and it was hard as a rock. Not delicate and chewy as expected. They were beautifully decorated though! Really pretty glitter and sprinkles! 5 stars for looks!

Additionally, they sell week-old scones for 1/2 off. I knew it wouldn’t be fresh, unfortunately it was even edible, even if they were free I’d pass! The muffins were also stale. They recommend to order online. I’m not ordering one muffin or scone days in advance to assure they’re edible.

To my disappointment, despite the huge bakery sign out front, it’s more of a gift shop with some items in cases.

I really tried to like this place, I’m sure others love it. There were just too many things “off” to warrant a trip back.

Updated review-
Tried again as they have cinnamon rolls and breads! They were closing earlier than stated online. They were out of the cinnamon rolls and no I’m not placing an order days ahead for 1 pastry. Also, the bread was hard as a rock. The owner is still just not very warm and friendly. And what is with her muscle shirts? I just don’t think they’ll survive. Overpriced and terrible service!

The fig and honey macaron was divine! Perfectly crunchy shell and soft filling on the inside.
The owner, Gretchen, really lets her creativity shine through her fun flavor selection and cute decor. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her creations.
The Coke-a-cola cookie is out of this world. I took some of her caramels all the way back home to California. Service was friendly and prompt.
